Just got back to Singapore; experienced about 2.5 days of life without internet and i kinda like it actually. I dont really know how to explain/describe the feeling though. Oh yeah anyway this blog post is just a random one so i'll be writing some random stuff in different paragraphs that have no link with each other.

I was watching the NEmation!6 clips just now and I really liked these 4 clips so i thought i should just share them with you guys. :) Okay if you are too lazy to read this post, just visit http://nemation.sg and vote for them now! Your vote is crucial for them because voting takes up a portion of their results and you should cast your vote to the team you think should win because every single one of them has put in a lot of effort to produce their 1 minute clip in 3 weeks of hard work. It doesn't take up a lot of time anyway and it'll be beneficial for you, as well as for the participants!

This is C2, done by Commonwealth Secondary School. I just love the comparison of past and present here. It shows both the similarities and differences very clearly through telling a story!

This is C6, done by Kent Ridge Secondary. I love this because it is really creative, it tells the story from different points of view, from different perspectives. Also, it does not have any vocals and expresses everything through the drawings; so i really thought it's unique and stands out from the rest of the clips.

This is C9, done by School and Science and Technology. The animation may not be as cute as the others, but i liked it because it's quite meaningful and heartwarming ; and i really felt that this video is the best representation of the theme "NS: From Fathers to Sons"

This is C10, done by St Margaret's Secondary School. I liked this animation because they could actually put the three main things together into a story: things used in NS, life in NS, past vs present. And of course how parents care about their children!

I don't really like watching period dramas, 古装戏 but I watched Scarlet Heart 步步惊心 just because everyone told me it's good. And I just can't get off it. Okay I really love it a lot. I'm watching it everyday on Channel 8 too. And I caught a line from today's episode: 以他的性格，恐怕除了他自己，谁都不会喜欢

就算放得下，也忘不了。每一天都会想念。

Anyway, JAE results are coming out 2 days later! I pray hard everyday that I'll get into MJ. Okay seriously. I may not work as hard as a lot of people for o levels (who have gotten results that could get them into VJ RJ HCI) but i swear i have worked really hard and never given up even when i really couldn't understand a single shit. (esp in physics and amath) I can't even get into the school of my choice with the results i've gotten, and i just want to get into a jc and work like ten thousand times harder. Thats all that I'm wishing for; is that really too much? But i know that there is every possibility that the COP for MJ will drop again. (and then i'll be posted to NYJ where i know no single person there) or maybe both schools COP will drop and then i will be posted to a NP.

If I were born in a rich family, I would have gone to NP. Because I wouldn't fear failing. I can't possibly take a course which i think i like but i realise later on that i dont really like and i couldn't even excel in it, right? I suddenly don't know what i want to do in the future. What i think is fun (aka what i like) seems so unrealistic. I just don't understand why everyone wants to do Business. Should i just study something more realistic.. Hais. Well, if i get accepted into NP, then i'll be doing something unrealistic (but i'll try my best to produce results, hopefully)

It's easy to find out how important a person is to you; if you feel sad when he/she leaves your life, it means that he/she is important to you. Sadly, the two important people (other than my parents of course) already left my life. I still keep in contact with one of them; but not with the other already. And the thing is, these two people were in life for a shorter period of time as compared to many people whom i think are not as important as them. You know what, it's really difficult to find friends who totally understands you. It's even harder to find a person who never fail to make you laugh every time.

Happy Chinese New Year! 新年快乐！龙年行大运！
Recently finished a drama Scarlet Heart 步步惊心. Those who haven't watched it, please go watch! It's damn awesome. It's like you'll never hate any of the characters even if they did something that caused harm to others because the 出发点 of their actions are always because of love and friendship. It's such a sad story so the characters cry in every episode but you definitely wont feel that its cliche or stupid or dumb and you'll cry hard together with the characters too HAHA. How i wish someone could explain to me those chim words that they used you know like poetry style which i don't understand :X then i would be able to understand and appreciate the drama even more.

I just came back from 拜年 (since 9am) and visiting the River Hongbao so I'm really tired and will not write such a complete/detailed/proper post today...But I really hope that this post will successfully persuade more people to watch the drama, and people who have watched the drama would love this post ^^ NOTE: SPOILERS AHEAD

Okay I decided to put this above video (live performance) instead of the fanmade MV because I swear 若曦 and 四爷 are really damn cute! (Refer to 0:48) 四爷 likes to hit 若曦's head and in return 若曦 would hit his head back (in the later episodes) and she also went to pull his 辫子 and etc.

The whole story is so sad because. Ruoxi was in trouble, 八爷 can only help her but it affected 十三. Because 四爷 wanted to help 十三 and 若曦, he needs to become the emperor (when you see how desperate and disappointed he was with himself just because he had no power and could do nothing to save the people he cares when 十三 was punished...it's really damn sad. it's the reason why he wants power so badly) But when he got power and saved the people he cared about, he started to do things which he think would help 若曦 but actually made 若曦 to be in a difficult position, because people beg her to beg him to let them off. She realised that everything was her fault because everything that people did was because of her but their actions caused the brothers to fight with each other.

She decides to leave the Forbidden City because that way, she would no longer be angry over the things that 四爷 does against his brothers. She would then be able to put down hatred and love him fully. But the problem is that 四爷 is the emperor and he has to be in the Forbidden City. (hais)

But having power is so useless because the people that 四爷 cared about all left him soon after all the problems are solved and be became so lonely :( The saddest thing was when 若曦 died. Even though she was with 十四, she never once loved him, and 四爷 didnt even get to see her before she left.

The most important thing is that power caused 四爷 and 八爷 to both lose 若曦。Power is useful only when you need it, but after you've used it and if you didn't use it properly, everyone will leave you, and you'll be left alone right at the top. If either of them did not want power, things would not have ended that way.

I really love this drama a lot, planning to watch it a second time with English subs this time, and maybe read the novel next time. (: But I doubt I have the time to do so once I get into JC. Since i touched on the topic, I really hope that MJ won't drop in COP again. Hais. Really please please please i swear i will study ten thousand times harder once i get into MJ. I'm feeling sad and worried every single day thinking about JAE results. Because I know that even if i can secure a place in MJ, I will not feel happy too. But I just want to get into a JC; so i'll make do with the unhappiness after that. I just want to say, even if I get into MJ, my heart will still be with TJ. I will never be happy even if i can get into MJ. But I just want to get into MJ and I will use this unhappiness to drive results because I never wanted results to force me to go somewhere/do something that I never wanted to.

That's all for today's post; I'm going to do some stuff.. Oh I'm reading 那些年我们一起追的女孩 and probably rewatching the movie once i finish the book (: Then I may do a blog post about it ^^ I wish all of you Happy Chinese New Year again!

Chinese New Year is coming soon and this may just be my last blog post until after CNY I guess. Currently waiting for JAE results, fingers crossed, hoping that i'll get into MJ...Though I don't expect much because I'm aware that their COP drops every single year. I havent thought about what i'd do if i dont get into MJ. We'll see. 走一步看一步吧

Been thinking about many things these days, including the same questions that I've been asking myself all the time: Did really do not enough? Have I really done my best? Isn't this really my best? People will tell you #mybestisgoodenough. But think logically okay. If you have done your best, and another person has done her best too; but your score is totally far too different from the other person, is that really the best that you could do? But the question is, what exactly is the best? Is there even a best? Maybe 6points is the best; but to another person, scoring straight As is the best. Or even scoring straight As and having a good portfolio/CCA records. Is there even a definition for 'the best' ?

Someone once told me; "If you're not as good as others, work twice as hard as others, or maybe thrice as hard." I guess I kindda forgot that. Because i stop having expectations. It's true that expectations lead to disappointments. But if one doesn't dare to experience the pain of disappointments then he will never gain success. Because it is expectations that drive us to work towards our goals, towards success. So when you stop having expectations, that is when you have already given up on yourself. That is when you tell yourself "It doesn't matter. Maybe I can never do as well. Maybe my best isn't enough. Impossible." The moment you tell yourself that it is impossible, you are actually already giving up on yourself. And that is the deadliest mistake ever - to give up on yourself.

There is a definition for "the best". But the definition differs from one person to another. "the best" actually refer to the goal that you set for yourself.

Secondary School. Looking back at it, I wanted to say I have wasted 4 years of my life. But no, I didn't. Neither have you. I spent 4 years of my life learning a lot of things. From mistakes. I've been trying too hard to be someone whom I never was. While trying to be someone that the society would accept, I got lost. I need to start doing things like how I wanted them to happen, and not doing what the society expects me to do. I need to make decisions that I want to make in my life, and not decisions that would not be rejected by the society. I've always told people that they're living their own life, and that they have to live only for themselves, not for others. But I forgot that I need to control my own life not based on what the society expects me to do.

I went up. I went down. I wavered. I lost control. Boom. I crashed. I woke up. Though they say "History always repeats itself." , I just hope that I'll remember how painful the crash was. The reason why I'm always indecisive is because I don't know who am I, and I can't decide whether to make a decision based on what I want, or a decision that the society will accept.

Whenever you get lost, think about primary school days, think about the days when you were young. Because that was the period of time when you were who you really are. And not the person who tries to fit into this society, to become a person that the society will accept.

Chinese New Year

Roaming around the internet and watched this video after I saw someone tweet about it. Before you watch this video, think about this question: What does Chinese New Year mean to you? Chinese New Year is a festive season where you buy new clothes, dress up yourself, visit relatives, have fun, catch up with those people who you haven't seen for a really long time, collect angbaos (and get $$$), eat good food, enjoy sweet stuff and forget all about dieting. Okay, all of the above aint the real reasons why Chinese celebrate the Lunar New Year. But, it is a season that we all enjoy and have fun, isn't it?

The only reason that i can come up with after watching this video is that this person must have hated Chinese New Year? I mean, even if you have no idea why you celebrate Chinese New Year, but you get holidays, get to eat, get to shop, get to have fun, you wouldn't be criticising Chinese New Year right?

"In my country Singapore, we celebrate Chinese New Year, on February." -> Not only Singaporeans celebrate Chinese New Year. To be exact, CHINESE celebrate Chinese New Year. Whether you're an Indonesian Chinese, Malaysian Chinese, China Chinese, Taiwan Chinese, or wherever Chinese. And, Chinese New Year isn't celebrated in February every year. It follows the Lunar Calendar and can fall in January too, just like this year. If you don't know when's Chinese New Year yet....It's on the 23 January. And that's just the first day of Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year is celebrated over a period of 15days. AND NOT ONE MONTH??!!!!

Okay I seriously can't be bothered typing out the lines from the video.

Chinese New Year isn't a copy of the American New Year. And it isn't the same idea. There are many customs that follow the Chinese New Year, and things that people do during Chinese New Year that you don't do during the New Year. Anyway, you don't even do anything during the New Year, do you? You probably just count down....10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 oh it's a new year. AND SO WHAT? ITS JUST A BRAND NEW DAY FROM YESTERDAY! Chinese New Year is meaningful, it's a festive season that all Chinese celebrate, celebrate togetherness, happiness, and a brand new start.

Please get your facts right before you create a video, kid. Even in the media industry, you have to get facts, evidences, quotations, etc. Or even in the entertainment industry, people create films based on facts and history. They even have to do research before writing the story. You're a Chinese, and you don't even know your own culture. Even if you don't know how to appreciate it, please do not insult the culture. And you don't even know what does “新年快乐万事如意” means? Wow.

He is probably just an ignorant kid who wants to express his opinions on the New Media, just like what many people have done and gotten famous. But the topic is really sensitive and well, let's just blame it on the "freedom of speech". The problem with the freedom of speech that we have is that it creates a platform for people who post without thinking insulting a greater audience more frequently. It's not that we can't express our own opinions, it's just that we really have to think if what we say is going to affect anyone, or insult anyone.

Today I learnt to cherish my life even more now. Not life as in I am able to live that kind of life. But life as in the people in my life, my surroundings, how it started, the life that I'm living.

I always thought those stupid epic cliche dramas whereby the guy cheats on the woman then they divorce and then the woman worries about the child because the child may grow up one day and ask about his birth father, or afraid that the child's friends would laugh at him or something were plain dumb. Not until I realised that such things do happen in real life today. 人生如戏，戏如人生。

Okay well i believe that "the guy cheats on the woman then they divorce" does happens, but I never ever thought that people laughing at the child would ever happen. It's like if you have both parents, and then you realised that your classmate/your friend doesnt, you would pity him/her right?! It's like a natural feeling that everyone will automatically have towards someone who doesnt have something that you do, isn't it?! I don't understand why on earth would anyone laugh at the person. Got no heart or what. Seriously?

And then when you realise that you actually have something that others do not, you will cherish what you have even more right? Because you now know that there are actually people who do not have something that you do, then you'll know that what you have is important, isn't it so? But why would someone laugh at the person instead of showing pity, expressing sympathy?

Next, I heard another story about BGR again. Okay, I don't even have enough time for sleeping, studying and having my own social life altogether, and i seriously don't understand why people even have the time to manage a relationship and manage sleeping, studying and social life as well. Seriously. Dear teenagers, it is not that I don't believe in relationships, I believe that every single person has the ability to love, because that is something that is born in us, in all animals; but knowing how to love isn't enough, managing your priorities and knowing who is the one worth loving is more important. At the age of 13? 14? 15? why do you need to get into a relationship? Just because you think it's fun? Just because you wanna give it a try and see how cool it is? And then so what happens after you get into a relationship? I don't get it. I really don't get this whole thing. Just admit it, you need and want accompaniment. Do you know that the most important thing in life is to learn and to master and to have the ability to be happy by yourself, for yourself, just with yourself, and being yourself.

Stop screwing up your own life, your studies, your future just because of the other person. Huh, you're gonna tell your parents i need to accompany him. What you're doing is so not cool at all, you're just breaking your parents hearts. What you're doing is what you think is "love", but you don't even know how to love yourself - which is to do well in your studies, in your life and build up your own future. Okay at least love your parents please. They have been there since the day you were born. You're just gonna say you need to show love for someone else and dump your parents? If you don't even know how to love yourself, if you can't even do well in your own aspects of life, how on earth do you even have the time, have the ability to care about others, to even express love for others? It's your own life that you're living, whatever you're doing will only affect you at the very end. Really. So stop screwing your own life.

Those who get into more than a few relationships in a year- you tell me that is a relationship? That is love? Teenagers do know how to express love, they do know how to love, because being able to love is born in us, it is as simple as just loving your toys from young and protecting them, and crying when your parents attempt to throw them away (okay my parents did that to me lol). They know. The only thing they do not know yet is who is worth loving. So before you know that, please, just love yourself. Give yourself the best, pity yourself, care about yourself, give time for yourself, accompany yourself, do all the things you love, try all the things you want. Instead of screwing yourself up.

CNY Blog Contest

CNY is coming so soon! Though the colour RED is often associated with Chinese New Year, I feel that wearing everything red is awful as red is a really strong colour. I prefer the colour PINK and think it is a really appropriate colour for Chinese New Year as it is a lighter tone from red and brings this really sweet feel!

Dresses

I really love this Floral Chiffon Maxi Dress! The light pink colour and floral patterns on it brings out a really sweet feel and since it's a Maxi Dress, it would be very appropriate to wear for visiting the older relatives, like grandparents (haha!) The light colour would definitely make one look youthful! It's always good to look younger right! Since it's kindda flowy too, it would also bring out elegance! This is just too perfect.

Accessories

I chose this because of the hearts and the price! Super affordable!

Really love this a lot! It's just too cute. Those silver and gold bangles are just too boring!

Now that we've got some matching items for our necks and wrists, we also need something to make our hair look prettier! This beige bow hair clip will definitely add some colour to the hair! :)

This pink clutch would be perfect for Chinese New Year! Hope this auspicious colour would bring more angbows and $$ hehe.

They actually have the beige one, but i chose the Pink one because beige is just too common! And it would look to similar to our skin colour (which is boring). So why not wear the pink one and look more outstanding in the crowd? :)

Decided to delete my previous post because i thought it was filled with too much depressing thoughts. Just shopped for Chinese New Year clothes yesterday and feeling happy! Afraid to see JAE results, but I swear if I can get into either JC, I would be freaking happy and will definitely cherish this last chance I'm given and study very hard.

Have a great Chinese New Year alright people! And for those who are waiting for JAE results like me, enjoy and treasure the last bit of holidays! After results thoughts

Results came out and things came out as what i expected it to be: Everyone going to JC while I can't even make it. Not that i can't make it, just that i can't make it to the Top5 JCs - where everyone is going to. I still haven't decided where to go...As much as I really like the courses Mass Comm and FSV, I can't be sure these two are what I really want to do in life and I am afraid of not being able to adapt in the new environment. Was really disappointed when I couldn't get into the one and only JC that I want to go to - TJ.

Received unexpected results, good results for the subjects I didnt study hard (Physics) and bad results for the subjects I studied really hard (Amath) and my Languages still killed me in the end. While the rest were just a little off the perfect score. Which resulted in the horrible overall score.

Crying very hard, feeling desperate, depressed, disappointed, helpless, hopeless, I guess this is the worst moment of my whole Secondary School life. But then again, how can crying get what I want? We're no longer a baby where our parents would just tend to us when we cry, trying many different methods to make us stop crying, just to see us smile. Impossible. Nobody's gonna pity you when you don't produce the results they want; people don't see your hard work, your perseverance; people only see results. People only make conclusions from your results. So even though it is often said that results aint everything, results is still the first thing people see and hence it is still important. It is the easiest thing to gain people's recognition, people's acceptance, people's respect, etc.

I guess the reason why I wanna go to a JC is because I really don't believe I can only do that much. I really think I can do so much better; and this time I will not be distracted anymore. I really think I spent less than one year studying two year's load seriously; thanks to me not studying hard enough in sec3 ugh.

Haven't smiled a moment since yesterday, till just now....When i went to switch on my old phone and I realised that I still had those messages saved in my phone...They still never fail to make me laugh for a 2nd time. Those were the happiest moments of my life, I guess. At least I feel much better now; life has to go on I guess. I should just stick my stupid results on my wall and constantly remind me to mugmugmugmug and stop slacking. I really don't wanna screw my life cos of any reason again.

Going on a hiatus...I don't know when I'll be back. Or maybe I won't ever be back. Just when my blog finally had better viewership...I'm sorry, I'm really not in the mood.

imperfections are perfect

Many people have been sharing this on Facebook and I thought that I shall just do a post about this topic today. About girls feeling that they are ugly.

I always hear people telling me that they think they're fat and that they want to go on a diet, they want to skip lunch/skip i dont know what meals, they want to stop eating for i-dont-know how many hours, etc. Skipping meals is so bad; my body can't stand it and whenever I do that I'll vomit each time I eat. The feeling is so horrible, the moment I see food, the moment I smell food, I feel like vomiting. It's like food is supposed to be a luxury, it's for enjoyment and yet for some period of time it was something i hate a lot. I have no idea why people want to skip meals, I have no idea why people are so desperate to be skinnier, the wrong way.

Nobody should skip their meals, they should eat healthily, have a balanced diet and exercise more, have an active lifestyle to live healthily and NOT trying to lose weight at a crazy rate.

They say they want to be as thin as me but at the same time they keep telling me to eat more and that being thin is not good. They're so ironic, they say that being thin isn't good and yet they wanna be thin. Well yes, I'm thin, but that's not what I want! It's just no matter how much I eat, it just doesn't help, besides, I just don't have a huge appetite!

Some people even tell me things like "I didnt put on makeup today so please do not freak out when you see me." It's like, what the hell? Even if you don't put on makeup, I wouldn't freak out! If your friends are truly your friends, they wouldn't despise you just because of how you look like. Whether you put makeup or not, they'll still treat you the same way as it is. Honestly, looks aren't the most important things unless you wanna be an artiste, or a model. I mean, yeah it isn't the most important things but you still have to look presentable, and by saying 'presentable' it doesn't mean that you have to look perfect.

And then let's move on, what's perfect? There's nothing perfect in this world, unless you're going to go for thousands of plastic surgery just to reach the level of perfectness. If there is a level of perfectness and everyone is going to follow that, then wouldn't everyone look the same? It is the imperfections that make things perfect. Because if everyone were perfect, then the world wouldn't be perfect! Cos everyone would look the same, and it would be so wrong. There is a reason why there is no level of perfectness and why we are all imperfect, that's because everyone of us is unique. You may say this is bullshit, but it's true, even in studying on Sciences, through the example that all of us have different fingerprints.

I just realised that it has been a long time since i submitted those long draggy posts with boring contents of my everyday life which i dont think anybody is interested to read, except for me when i need inspiration. So today I shall type one and sleep earlier cos i'm freaking tired after walking the whole of Bugis Street yesterday with Lindy cos she was trying to find her lace~ and of course today's tour around NP and SP. Plus, we're going to TJ's open house tomorrow, oh gosh. Okay i think my legs are going to break -_-"

Results are coming out this Monday, we have to report at 130; I'm actually freaking scared, cos I have no confidence. Not because I am pessimistic but because I always dont get desired results despite studying damn hard :( It's like there are always unexpected results...So I don't dare to have such high hopes. I just hope that I'm not that screwed, even though i think i am. Okay whatever. People always say i think too much ;_;

Recently a lot of people seem to have more interest in going to Polytechnics, but I've got this feeling that their O level results will be damn good and then they will turn to JC in the end, and then what if i screw up my O levels and end up being the only one going Poly T_T I mean like duh, if you get 6 points why would you still wanna go to a Poly when you're from a Sec Sch, from a class with all the people moving on to JC, you definitely will follow your friends as well right? Unless you have this strong passion and this strong calling for you take this particular course from Poly.

Honestly, I don't expect much la, I just hope my results aint too bad. I thought about it, and I really think I did my best. Hais its not about being really disappointed, and like as if there's no way out already. It's like cos people with 9/8/7 A1s will go on stage, then when you see all your friends going up and you're the only one down there, you will feel very sad and like you're an epic failure ma. boo. And obviously when your name isnt on the 6 A1s list you know you screwed up your L1R5. Worse is if you go to school then your teacher give that disappointed face; aiyo sure know gg liao can T_T Worst is, when your bunch of friends say they wanna go Poly with you, later they are all the 6-pointers and go to JCs, and then you realise you're on your own to spend the next 3months of holidays....CAN DIE PLEASE. DIE OF BOREDOM OMG

Okay la i just feel screwed typing all of these. Anyway we went to NP and SP today, and I realised that I really can't stand Business. K NP's introduction was still okay, I totally felt like sleeping when I went for the business tour in SP. I have no idea why the whole world seems to be interested in Business while i'm not. K forever the weird one -.- Visited SP's Media and Communication and i thought that it was a really weird course, honestly i'm still kindda confused about that course and really have no idea whats the main focus of that course. It's not really Mass Comm, it's totally different. So I guess if my results really can't make it to a JC, I shall just go to NP and take either Mass Comm or FSV, which until today i still cant make a decision between these two T_T I love the media a lot, but i love being a part of the behind the scenes too! So I really can't decide, shall see how, maybe my English sucks like shit and I can't even reach their requirements for English then I'll take FSV.

Okay I'm done rambling. I just pray hard my results are okay luh. K this is such a crappy long post.

因为爱上炎亚纶，最近认识很多新的布丁们，新马的都有，希望今年可以认识到台湾的布丁们。然后就和她谈到了一些事，发现我们俩的故事都还蛮像的。我和她说了个我从没说过的故事，当然在这里也不会说啦，连最好最好的朋友都没说过，不是因为不相信他们，不是因为人为他们不会了解我的感受，是真的不知道该从哪里开始叙说，也不知道该怎么把故事讲完，如果要我说的话，结局可能就是 “就这样咯。” 但他们也没问过，所以就觉得没必要交待，虽然他们曾提到，但我那时在逃避问题，所以就逃避话题了。

我应该逃避了快要1年多吧，然后我就认识了“炎亚纶” （我认识的是舞台上的炎亚纶，不是吴庚霖。）很庆幸有吴庚霖在我世界里增添了欢乐（舞台上的是炎亚纶，炎亚纶是那个创造音乐的。带给人欢乐的是真真实实的吴庚霖。算了，你们也不了解我的意思），所以我今天才能够回到以前的那个自己，那个每天都能逗人笑，每天都能笑到肚子痛的自己。

因为我认为一个能让我很开心的人就是一个我更难忘记的人，是一个我更要感激的人，所以我感激不尽，我谢天谢地，我不会忘记。但我讨厌的是一个让我开心的人突然之间一声不响就离开的人。因为你在我世界里增添了欢笑，我无法忘记你，也无法讨厌你。所以，如果你一开始就打算一声不响就离开的话，那请你让我痛恨你，这样我肯定记不起你。

有时候会觉得自己「想太多」，可是和朋友谈到最后，我们俩还是来到了这个结论：你对我来说还是非常重要的。

其实我比较喜欢原唱者的，可是MV有点 sian 所以就找了这一个。

其实我从头到尾都一直都不了解，不了解你为什么好像很排斥很多人，不了解为什么你对“不是你的朋友”的人那种让人很讨厌你的感觉，不了解为什么你总是拒绝人，不了解为什么要这样做，不了解你为什么要那样做。到了最后，我也不了解自己，不了解为什么自己会有这样的感受，不了解为什么自己会这么做，不了解为什么自己会那样做。有很多的不了解，可是唯一我了解的是，你对我来说很重要。你的离开。。。让空虚找上了我家门来。

空虚，是一种无法习惯一个人的不存在的感受，是一个好像这世界有很多很多的人，好象你身边有很多很多的人，好像大家都有说有笑，但是感觉上自己只在自己的一个黑暗的世界里，好像就算身边有那么多的人，好像就算身边有那么多的欢笑，只觉得自己还是一个人，还是无法开心的感受。空虚，让人觉得自己是非常寂寞，非常孤独的。就算自己感到快乐，那也是短暂的，因为，过了不久，空虚还是会找上门来。就好像，就算你一整天都开心地笑，到了晚上，你还是觉得自己根本不快乐。这，就是空虚。它是一个非常非常可怕的感受，好象你走在人群很多的街上，虽然很热闹，可是在你的世界里，是安静的，是黑暗的。

空虚的解药是自己。因为只要找回自己，就能解脱空虚。能解脱空虚，才能找回永恒的快乐。可是在找回自己前，需要陪伴，需要希望，因为如果无法找到希望，就无法找回自己。空虚就是一个让人迷失在自己的世界里的一个感受。

虽然我已经解脱了空虚，但这不代表我能够忘记，因为每次想起来的时候都会有点伤感，这是难免的，虽然不知什么时候才能不伤心，但至少已经解脱了空虚。

Hello everybody! Today I'm going to share about something which i think everybody would be interested in! Whether you love shopping or not, you'd definitely love this, because we all love cheap deals right! It's Budget Barbie! It's some kind of a like a talk show whereby blogger Qiu Qiu goes shopping with only $100 per episode and she shares with the audience the items that she get, tips, how to match clothes, accessories, etc at REALLY LOW PRICES. Really low prices meaning $5, $10, $15. Most of the items she bought are around those prices, she really seldom buys stuff that are above $15 or even $20.

Wait. I mentioned everybody, because there are episodes for the guys too!

So you can watch the episodes during your free time, to have an idea on what to shop for, and to know where to shop for cheap deals of course! This is called smart shopping :P You don't have spend like hundreds to look good and you can definitely learn a lot from those episodes! (:

Favourite songs of 2011

I mentioned that I was listening to 987FM 2011 Top100 Songs Countdown in my previous post; so today I'm going to blog about some of my favourite songs of 2011! Because last year I was busy with O levels and I got kindda bored of English Pop that I moved on to Chinese Pop halfway in the year, and also got more exposure to Kpop, so this time I'll be talking about all three genres alright! ((: Okay there won't be any ranking cos I don't know how to rank...I just love all of them at different times of the year!

Earlier in the year, I was obsessed with Jessie J's Price Tag.

And of course Born This Way. I was REALLY disappointed when it was only #12 on Top100 list. It's awesome. Really good song. Love it a lot. I know a lot of people don't like this song; but i'm sorry we have different taste in music :(

2011 was such a tiring year for me that I really can't remember whether Party Rock Anthem came first or Born This Way came first. But anyway. I know Party Rock Anthem came together with Jennifer Lopaz's On The Floor. But I love Party Rock Anthem like OMFG though I wouldn't say On The Floor is one my favourites. Oops. Everyday I'm Shuffling! Top song of 2011! Whoohoo!

My most most most favourite songs of the year is definitely Party Rock Anthem and Give Me Everything by Pitbull even though it was #5 on the Top100 list..But let's just say everyone likes different types of music alright (:

Later in the year I got obsessed with Marry The Night. I love You and I, Edge of Glory, Judas too. But by favourites, I mean i play them on repeat for the whole day. So yeah; that shows how much I love these songs. And I dont play them for just one day. I can play them for weeks, and some months! :P

These 5 English songs are really the only ones that are really significant to me in 2011. Thats the reason why I kindda moved on to Cpop; but I realised Cpop focuses a lot on Slow-moving songs which I don't really like, but I did learn to appreciate them after realised 炎亚纶. and tried very hard to gain more exposure to Kpop too.

My ultimate favourite Cpop song of the year is 只看见你; it's listed #28 on the Top100 list for 933FM and I'm quite disappointed, but believe me, this boy will make it to the Top in SG soon. He's already top in Taiwan lah, so no need to wish for that :P Cmon he works so hard just cos he doesn't want people to love him cos of his face, but cos of his music. He would learn the Violin just because he's a violinist in a drama. Drama leh, can fake one. He also went to learn it! Though I really love pop songs and fast moving songs, this song totally broke my record, cos I think I heard it nonstop for AT LEAST one month; which broke my record even for Born This Way. Plus it's not a pop song. And I still listen to it whenever i wanna play music at home. That shows how much I love it!

Btw, his album has a piano piece; have you ever seen that in other music albums by any other artistes? Okay i dont know, maybe have, but he's unique!! And I only love unique things (and people.). Honestly, i were to choose between pop songs and Aaron Yan, I really don't know which to choose, so pleasepleaseplease produce a pop song and I'll love him tenthousand times more x)

Basically I get more exposure to Cpop through watching Taiwan dramas, cos their theme songs are mostly pop/fast-moving songs, which is obviously more attractive to me as compared to slow-moving songs. So anyway I love this! :D It's 醉后决定爱上你's theme song; even though i didnt watched the drama.

The next one is a slow-moving song, but I love it a lot! The reasons why I love Hebe is the same as why I love Yalun. Both of them work really hard to achieve their dream just cos they love to sing. Just that reason. So simple, but the process is so tough and you see both of them getting hurt but still never giving up. And her voice is really awesome; quite different from many female artistes. ^_^

And I also love this. Through some friends and fans of Raine Yang, I got more exposure to her songs, and more exposure to slow songs though this one is a faster-paced one.

And through getting more exposed to Cpop, I realised that Singaporean singers who go to Taiwan actually become Top artistes there. So that shows that Singapore has 土生土长 talents okay! It's just you Singaporeans don't support them, and all support Kpop nia! Dont believe me? I give you example. JJ Lin, Stefanie Sun, etc. Oh and Olivia Ong too. She's really awesome. Cos she's really special. But the one song that I like in 2011 is by Derrick Hoh. 放弃了放弃了

I know a lot of people love 胡夏's 那些年, I like it, but i dont exceptionally love it. So yeah. And this year people were crazy over Anthony Neely probably cos of the Channel U shows...He's quite good, I love 缠抖 too.

5 songs for Epop, 5 songs for Cpop, I got more exposure to Kpop this year too! So I try my best to list three Kpop that I like la, okay. And I just simply love Mona Lisa by MBLAQ. Cos its not much of Techno Pop. It's actually the first one that i like in 2011.

Next, 2NE1 of course! K la the song is quite bitchy like it goes "OMG" in a bitchy way...But they are damn POWER! Watch their live, and you'll get what i mean x)

And at first I really laughed when people tell me Beasts fans are called Beauties. No offence its like Romeo's fans are called Juliets.. K but this song is really good. I love it.

I know the hit songs this year are like 2PM's Hands Up, SNSD's The Boys, SJ's Mr Simple, but I really can't stand the whole-song-technopop thing feel; it's really too much that makes my head go dizzy. So I really love these three. But that doesn't mean i'm a Beauty, or i'm a 2NE1 fan (idk what they're called sorry), or I'm an A+. I'm not haha. I just like their songs (:

Oh and I forgot to mention that a lot of people asked me to listen to CN Blue...A lot of people tell me that they're really good, but the songs that they produce are just not the style that i like. They have this really unique style that I don't really appreciate it that much. So yeah, sorry!

Yup, thats all for this post, and hope you guys love the songs that I loved in 2011 too! So really, people when you tell me to listen to this this this song i do! But not immediately la, cos so many people ask me to do so many things, really very busy leh! So hopefully this year I would be able to make a balance between Cpop, Kpop, and Epop at the same time. Hopefully la. I await for Lady Gaga's concert tour and 炎亚纶第2张专辑！Till then.

i cant live without tehonology

This is a long post. Skip it if you want!

A few days ago, my internet connection got cut off. I totally couldn't connect to the internet and I was like "WTF happened to my internet?!" The first thing i did was to use my phone to get online, cos I was tweeting halfway. And then I realised that i couldn't get on the internet through my phone's 3G too. Totally pissed the hell of out me. I called Singtel, but I couldn't get through. The next thing came to my mind: If Singtel's internet's going to be down, I'm going to watch my drama now.

A Halt.

You see, that's how important the internet and the computer is to me. Like as if I really can't live without them.

But anyway all the internet connection came back after about half an hour i guess; and the moment I got on Twitter, "Singtel" was trending in Singapore. Not only me, the internet plays an important role in many people's lives too.

I was reading @yankaykay's blog post recently and I thought it was a really good read so you guys should go read it. After reading it, I got reminded of the expository I wrote in Prelim. For those who are reading this blog post right now and have read my essay before, I just wanna say, that essay was bullshit seriously, bullshit! Oh by the way the question was something like "How would life be like if computers did not exist".

For the sake of those who have never read my essay before, and for those who have already forgotten what i wrote, I'm just going to state the main points in my essay. I mentioned that my life would be chaotic, without being able to save all my work on the computer, and maybe losing all my documents (cos they're all in papers), or maybe unable to find them since papers fly all around, and having to search for books in the library/bookstore to get work done (which is a slow process) and there wouldn't be dramas, movies, etc for us. Okay I guess you'd know how crappy i am to be able to write a 2.5page essay based on all these points. And my essay totally gave people the impression "I can't freaking live without a computer!"

Well, I really can't live without a computer. Not only a computer. I can't live without the internet, without my smartphone.

While everyone was at countdown parties yesterday, I was at home.. (#foreveralone) I was listening to 987FM Top100 songs countdown. Immediately after I heard the top song, which was obviously Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO (Everyday I'm shufflin!) a friend on Twitter told me to watch Gayo Daejun online cos it was MBLAQ performing. While trying to load it on my comp, I realised that Ariel Lin was going to perform in TaiZhong's Countdown Party so I loaded that online stream too. I was basically switching between both channels. In the midst of watching these, I was talking to friends on Facebook, commenting on posts, checking my Twitter timeline on my phone, replying to people...

That was how busy I was. Or rather, distracted. I think I've never paid 100% attention to one thing that i'm doing on hand. I could be watching Gayo Daejun but at the same time I'm replying people's messages on Facebook/Twitter/SMS/Whatsapp.

Forever green.

Technology allowed us to stay connected with the world, technology is a driving force of Globalisation, it allows the spread of knowledge, the spread of culture, the spread of information, the spread of news, in just a second's time. But you know what, everything is coming in so fast, so fast that we have to absorb so much information, talk about so many topics, handle so many tasks in 24hours. Receiving faster also means we have to produce faster. And that is why I'm feeling so tired everyday.

I feel like I don't have enough time, I really don't. Before I knew it, I would have spent the whole 24hours that i have a day. And I realised, I don't spend these 24 hours on myself. I spent it on staying connected with the world, with everybody. But the problem is, I can't stop myself from doing all these. Because when you dont stay connected with the world, you would have this happen to you the next moment- Your friend says "..." ; "xxx" ; "*****" and you'd be like "???????" all the way. You know you can't lose connection with the world because things, information, news, etc just keeps coming in. And once you lose connection, you'd realised you'd have more to catch up with.

Next. I find myself saying "okay i'll watch/listen/read/see/etc if i have the time" ALL THE TIME. A Kpop fan would tell me "xxx by xxx is a good song!" and i'll say "okay i'll listen to it if have the time." And then since everyone likes different stuff, i'd probably here that line a couple of times a day. Then someone else would say "this movie is good!" and i'll say "okay i'll watch it when i have the time" There are so many things queuing up for me to complete them, and I have no idea why people tell me they get bored. (even during the holidays.)

Actually there's one last point that I want to touch on, but I'm really too tired to continue. It's like 214AM now. So I shall leave it for some other day.

Anyway, despite all these technology that we have, I realised that we actually dont have much opportunities to express our gratitude, our feelings to the people around us. Which is the reason why I would always write a letter at the end of each journey to the people who are about to leave my life.

2011 is going to end soon by the time this post gets published on my blog. 2011 has been a really busy year for me, it was a year which i dreaded a lot, a year with lots of difficulties faced, overcame, and moving on now. Tried a number of new things this year, made good use of opportunities given, though not successful in all, but glad that i've made full use of everything that came along the way. 让我们来回味2011年吧！

First we had the Adam Khoo workshop; which totally inspired everyone to get 6points and 9A1s but after one month, or even one week or maybe only one day, everyone is back to their old self; kindda ~~useful~~ I mean useless. Right after all the inspirational stuff, we're back to our old lives obviously. Since it's Jan, everyone's busy with their own CCAs, CCA selection, CCA showcase, CCA orientation, and phew all the busy days went by really fast (for me) and I was all ready for proper studying and preparation by around March, though the rest were busy with SYF, which produced disappointing results and caused many sec4s to be pissed, irritated, annoyed during that period.

And I blogged about this and this and NE6 of course. First time I actually blogged about events. Uhm it was a new experience and scary and exciting at the same time; really fun, hope I can get to do more of such stuff in the future ^^

2011 was filled with this:

Because it was all the "I study so hard and my results still suck WTF." Especially when it comes to Amath cos I just can't freaking do every single question. It's like I start on an exercise in the Amath textbook and this happens: "First question: dunno. skip. Second question: can't solve. skip. Third question: can't get the answer. Skip. Then....EH I FINISH EVERYTHING BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO EVERYTHING."

In class (you know what i mean) and at home. Damn it, can't stand it when i'm working and people just keep talking and nagging, irritating.

Honestly, studying for the whole year is really difficult. We get bored, we get sick of it, we want it to end immediately, we get tired, we get annoyed, we feel like giving up but we know we can't, we've been through a lot of shit and we're finally out of it! So I wouldn't say I'm going to regret any part of 2011, I don't think I'll miss 2011 except the fact that I'll miss being a Secondary School student because i know the path ahead is going to be tougher, but that doesn't mean it will be suckier.

2011 is about Kungfu Panda and Inner Peace!

Oh and it was about it's Friday Friday and blasting it during April Fools day. And after that was the Born This Way obsession and Glee! We also had Party Rock Anthem and everyone's shuffling! Sorry i dont know whats the kpop trend of the year though oops.

After that was the obsession over this kid. I mean the one who acts more like a kid than the actual kid duh -_- And this year i fulfilled one of the things that i wanted to try: to manage a fan twitter account/facebook account! Not easy, but new experience, and quite fun! And making many many friends through Twitter ^_^

And also playing this mushroom game. HAHA

Oh and also getting obsessed with Taiwan dramas, especially the ITWY craze!

Next year. 2012. I hope to own a DSLR? And my first wish for 2012 is obviously good o level results, I havent decided whether to go to JC or Poly yet. But we'll see. Last but not least, I hope to try more new stuff too! If I go to JC, i hope i can get an internship in the media industry? If I go to Poly, it's definitely either Mass Comm or FSV; so yeah. And maybe start a blogshop too! :) We'll see how it goes yeah.

For those who are wishing "I hope i can be slimmer" "I will try my best not to eat" PLEASE. Instead of wishing for all these, love yourself more. You are living your own life; life doesn't come with instructions so that you can decide everything for yourself and create your own story. So please love yourself. And for those who felt that 2011 sucked, and hope 2012 to be better, I would say, live like you're dying. If you ain't going to make full use of your life, then every year would be the same. At the end of every year you're still going to say "omg this year sucked."

Bye 2011, Hello 2012! It's another 365days with endless possibilities and many new beginnings!

PS. Going to stop blogging for a while because I need to rush my farewell stuff next week and visit all the open houses and of course results day. LOL and sorry for this really boring post cos I think i got too tired of blogging everyday. Woah really no stamina.

Fanwars

Since I have a little more time before I'm going to sleep, I thought I'd just touch on the topic of "Fanwars". What is a fanwar? It is basically a fight between fans and haters. OR it can also be a fight between fans of a certain idol and fans of another idol.

Example Number One. Fights between fans and haters.

Honestly, if you hate this artiste, for I dont know what VALID reason you have... Valid meaning if he has done something despicable, or if he is atrocious, or he has done something against his conscience ... Well no he hasn't done anything of that sort. So you actually don't have any proper reason to hate him and I really have no idea why the heck you'd hate him. Alright, let's just say you hate him just cos of nothing. But since you hate him then why the heck are you following him, why the heck would you want to comment on his post? What is the motive of your actions? Feel very shiok ah? Or you want to be famous?

Well yes, starting a fanwar is indeed the easiest way to become famous on the internet. LOL. Congrats you have done it; you're freaking famous LOL. Because obviously all the fans of the idol will come and haunt you.

Example Number 2. Fights between fans of one and fans of another.

There are many examples that you can get out there, like Korea's SNSD vs Taiwan's Super7 - one of the big news recently, or not so recent actually. I dont know why, but it seems like may fans of Korean artistes seem to like to comment on Taiwanese artistes. Talking is an art, it is a skill, one that is difficult to master. One word you say may just change the whole of the sentence's meaning. Like for example, the first comment. If you think someone's acting is terrible just say "I think her acting is terrible." You don't have to say "I think Taiwanese people's acting are terrible." It's DIFFERENT. And I totally agree with the second comment. If you are just watching cos of these two guys, then watch their concert, or i dont know, anything else that doesn't have Taiwanese people involved if you really think they are terrible.

And when you want to fight your point, do provide evidence! Like the fourth comment. Best example. I agree with "some fans like you are just so irritating" /// I KNOW RIGHT.

I'm not saying we can't have our own views, we can. But we really need to phrase our words correctly, provide concrete evidence to prove our point right, and not just being biased and critical.

Back with another post on 我可能不会爱你 In Time With You. This post will be on Episode2! Hope all of you will like it! This episode has many scenes that focus on telling both 程又青 and 李大仁 that they should cherish each other.

可能全世界的人都知道李大仁根本没喜欢 Maggie 到有爱的程度，可能全世界的人都知道李大仁爱的是程又青，可能只有李大人还一直在骗自己，可能只有程又青不知道李大仁爱她，可能只有程又青不知道她爱李大仁。

我也跟程又青一样，讨厌别人帮我收拾东西，认为东西乱的时候更容易找到自己的东西，你呢？哈哈。

I love this scene a lot, because it portrays both 李大仁's actions and his colleagues actions in the same scene, portraying both actions at the same time ^_^

男女之间有纯友谊吗？这个问题在本距里没有答案，大家有自己的一套答案吗？可能有吧，但李大仁根程又青绝对不只是『朋友』。

可是有些人又不这么认为。。。

我同意，拥有就是失去的开始。可是我不会因为拥有是失去的开始而不想拥有。因为拥有，就算最终还是失去了，至少我曾经拥有，曾经得到些快乐，幸福，满足，等等等。可是如果我不曾拥有，那我真的什么都没有。拥有了然后失去，至少比没曾拥有好，因为如果拥有，至少人生中很有些能让你回味的，但如果没有，那人生不就是一场空吗？简单来说，人生不在乎天长地久，只在乎曾经拥有。所以我们不应该因为害怕失去，而不敢拥有。

还有这是要送给大家，又青的金玉良言！

原来我不是一个等待提领的箱子，而是一个可以装着许多故事的包包。

PS. 我真的好喜欢用舞台剧来表达　「拥有就是失去的开始」，来表达为什么李大仁不会爱程又青。这两个是这部戏的重点，以舞台剧的方式，真的让观众们都有着深刻的印象。所以只想说，这一集，真的很棒！

I'm writing my "Last Post for 2011" which will be published on 31Dec as well as preparing for the post on the next In Time With You episode. I am considering writing a post on Skip Beat (the newest Taiwan drama) as well; so this blog may be a little dead ;_;

Anyway, I remembered watching this last week and didn't have the time to blog about it cos I was still working then...

Hello everybody! I know this post came out really late because I was busy with work and stuff right after i finished watching this movie. But I still hope that all of you who have watched the movie, who liked the movie, will love this post; and all those who didn't like the movie, or those who haven't watched the movie will change your idea about this movie and love it and maybe go watch it! So what movie are we talking about today? It's already famous; so famous; haven't you heard of it yet?

I watched the movie because it's a Singaporean production, and the most amazing part about the movie is that Michelle Chong is the main female lead, the director, and the scriptwriter! She's really talented. I wish I can be a scriptwriter, film a movie, edit the movie myself too. HAHA wait long long. And after watching the movie, I really love it a lot! I think it's one of the best (or maybe the best) movie produced in Singapore.

So why do I love this movie?

Well yes, I like the movie cos of the above 3 reasons, but I love the movie more than just that.

哪儿有人一炮而红的啊？当然是要慢慢泡才会红啊！就好像咖啡，炮3分钟咖啡很快就会冷，要泡10分钟才可以。If you notice the title, it's actually not this 炮 but this 泡。I really like this concept and how it is being portrayed, by including a 咖啡仔。

年轻的时候要做什么就做什么，不要想那么多！I really love it when the ahma says in Hokkien, because i feel that it makes the words sound wiser. Anyway the mixture of English Chinese and Hokkien languages really gives it a really unique Singaporean feel, so I love this too! 很有新加坡口味

不是每个人都会一炮而红，也不是每个人都能坚持到最后。

如果一个人一生中没做自己喜欢的事，那长寿又有什么用？

Really love these two lines. (I can't really remember the exact words from the movie, so if i got it wrong, I'm sorry!)

Anyway, I was watching videos of Already Famous on Youtube and then I found this.

就算你不可以，至少你已经做到你想做的东西，好过你一直在想，“我当初，我当初没有做的东西。”

Already Famous is a really meaningful and inspiring movie. I get very analytical when it comes to movies and dramas and these kind of stuff, but really. Like for example the scene where Ahkiao wanted to pawn the jade pendent away. To her, it's a really precious item. But to the person, it isnt worthy in terms of money at all. 一个不值钱的东西对很多人来说是垃圾，可是对它的主人来说可能是无价之宝。东西不只是因为它的价钱而有价值，很多时候都是因为送的人，送的原因，它背后的故事。一个平凡不了的东西可能对一个人来说是个宝。

This one is hilarious, but at the same time inspiring. I mean yeah both have to do with -television- but its two different kinds of things! It's a really great difference. Oh by the way, this movie has many funny scenes, including the Patricia Mok one where she asks who she looks like and she says Zoe Tay; and a lot of others!

Other than scriptwriting, acting, filming, Michelle Chong also wrote the lyrics of this song.

The story + the song, totally can make you cry. It's so touching!

My most memorable scene wasnt the scene where 小鬼 told ahkkiao about the 你可以当我生命中的女主角 cos thats not the best 爱情故事的经典台词. I think my most memorable scene is when she smiled then cried at the end during her competition. 那是感动得眼泪。真的很珍贵。人不是每次都因为“伤心”而哭，有时是因为“感动”而哭。感动的泪水比伤心的泪水还要珍贵。I love this the most because it's like when people mention about 'crying', people often think about sad stuff, etc. But actually humans do cry because they are touched too. And thats even more precious than crying over sad stuff, really.

Overall Conclusion of 一泡而红：我觉得《一泡而红》很感人，虽然故事不是最棒的 (Cos i feel that the whole movie is quite draggy and long, plus it doesnt really have a climax.) ，但剧本写得很好，真的很喜欢很戏里的很多台词，我喜欢戏里用泡咖啡来比喻成功，也喜欢用卖电视机和上电视对比。真的觉得是部很好的影片。最让我敬佩的时庄米雪，她是编剧，在戏里是主角，还是导演，真的很令人敬佩。

Anyway this is the theme song of the movie, by 小鬼！Do support his new album alrights!

All in all this movie is a really lighthearted one, funny one, and at the same time a touching one. 真的很棒！If a photobook of this drama is published with lyrics of the theme songs; lines from the movie, I'm sure a lot of people will buy it! And I really hope i can watch this movie again so that i can note down all the 经典台词！Kudos to Michelle Chong, really!

Hello! From today onwards i'll be doing at least one post on the drama In Time With You《我可能不会爱你》because I really love it! If you have been following my twitter, you should know that i'm obsessed with the drama, because it's really awesome! Actually they have already finished broadcasting all the episodes of the drama, but due to the overwhelming response from viewers, Taiwan is now broadcasting the add-on version with scenes that have been initially cut off! Thanks to someone from Taiwan, I managed to watch the add-on version and today I'll be doing a blog post on the first episode! Hope fans will enjoy reading this post, and non-fans will fall in love with this really meaningful, inspirational, awesome drama. ♥

Oh wait, before i move on, I should give a brief introduction of this drama.

For the gist of the story, please read it from Wikipedia. In every episode, they will include one 初老症状 and one 熟女魅力.

I still remember the first time when I watched the drama, the first episode; I already fell in love with how they describe "Time" And the monster totally made me more interested in finding out what is it. Really love this interesting concept.

I love this scene a lot! I love how they create a double exposure, focusing on the theme "Time" here.

时间：一个曾经让每个少女期待着它跑快一点，可以长达到能够拥有人生的第一双高跟鞋。可是又让现在２９岁的我会突然怀念起１７岁的那双「白布鞋」。
你有没有一个感觉，我们的１７岁好像才不过是去年的事。。。
时间啊，我拜托你可不可以不要追我追得那么紧啊！！

After that they zoomed into the meeting in the office, whereby Lala had to do a presentation on the products for 17 year old girls. And then you see 又青 being unhappy with her designs, because she still remembers what a 17 year old wants, which has already been portrayed at the start of the drama. See the link? Links are really important in a drama. Cos if not, your audience would get really confused, and there wouldn't be any flow to the drama. Of course, links help to give the audience a deeper impression of the different scenes in the drama.

Have you ever thought about it? It's really ironic how we always want time to fly faster so that we can grow up and do the many things that the grown-ups can do? That we always think that if time flies faster we would be able to stop doing the boring/difficult things that we are currently doing, that we can do things that we like? And then at some point of time you started thinking, why did time fly so fast? We all started thinking, if only we could slow down the pace of our lives, if only we could enjoy life, and stop wanting to move on so quickly, if only we could go back and do the things that we have not done...if only...

Havent that happened before? Like studying. In Sec1: Damn, I can't wait to get out of this school; how long will that they come man. And then as you reach Sec4: OMG O levels is so horrible; really hope it would end soon. And when everything ends, you realise, why did my secondary school days pass by so fast? Ironic, isn't it?

OMG I totally love this line, together with the scene. MAJOR LINK. 驯服 = tame; like tame animals...凶猛 = like fierce. (dogs?)

If you have been following my Twitter, you would know that I really love the script. Damn, why are they able to describe every single thing so nicely! Not only that, they are still able to tie in everything nicely, and not make these "inspirational" stuff seem out of place in a typical Idol Romance Drama, making it feel "bullshit".

Anyway yes, back to this line. Having my holidays now. Real holidays after 4 years in Secondary School; seriously. Every single holiday = CCA, homework; study; projects, competitions, etc. It's been about 1month+ since our holidays started, wondering if people have been using their holidays wisely. Been trying to use my holidays to do stuff that i've always been wanting to do; but it isnt very successful yet...Cos I was busy with work the last two weeks. I swear i'm not going to work anymore this holidays cos i want to use the next one month to do stuff.

But anyway, just wanna say, we really have to "Live like we're dying" everyday, even though it's really hard to achieve; and sometimes we really have to take a break from the fast-paced city life that we're living in, slow down the pace, and well just enjoy what we're doing currently; or even do things that we've always wanted to do but never had time to do so due to the schedules that we have to follow everyday. It's really tiring, I know.

I really like that line a lot because I think I face the "getting-stuck-everywhere" problem. Some people tell me that I'm very different from others. Maybe I am, oh well, I really don't know. Like I always do things differently from others, and will start to think, am I really wrong and that I should really start following the crowd? I also get stuck at contemplating whether I should give in, etc. Really big problem like if I want to do something not really pleasant, I'll feel bad, but it feels like I'll 吃亏 if i give in.

有时候，看到自己是真的会吓一跳。可能这就是刚认识我的人都不大喜欢我的原因吧，所以很庆幸有着周围一直以来陪伴着我的朋友。但最终，还是要记得李大仁所说的：

不要担心自己的不一样，要骄傲地相信自己是最与众不同的。

It's my last day of work today! I can finally sleep later and longer! YAY. Just realised that one month has passed. Damn; i need to make good use of time and do the stuff that i want to do quickly; really afraid i wont have enough time to finish the things that i want to do before curriculum starts again. Anyway, really tired tonight so i'm not going to do a proper post. I promise a new post up tomorrow alright! Actually i've already done it halfway. ^_^

Been really busy these days; and sick ugh. Sorethroat; and recovered after eating lots of sweets? Flu; and recovered after being under the superbly cold environment? K my body is screwed up or something. Busy cos yesterday I had CCA Farewell, this shall come under another post, and I've been spending time writing the writeup for Infocomm for the unofficial yearbook :/ Sorry for not updating! Anyway, today's blog post will be about the Aaron Tan and Racism and Be Responsible for What You Say Online issue. I've been wanting to blog about this ever since last week...But I was really tired and busy and yeah.

Anyway. If you don't know what exactly happened; this is the video created by Aaron Tan, an 18 year old Singaporean.

Actually, I wouldn't suggest you watching it, because 80% of the video is filled with vulgarities. You have "Fuck you" and some hokkien ones, and some chinese ones. The rest of the 20% is filled with repeated content. And that's how he managed to talk for 10minutes; really. The whole video is just about this 18year old guy who was damn pissed off with a 14year old kid for snatching his 16year old girlfriend.

People commented on the fact that he can't speak proper English cos he goes "PREASE LA!" But I was actually thinking, Since he's a Singaporean, he should've gone to school, and he should know that the proper pronunciation of the word is "PLEASE" right? And even if he's used to saying "PREASE", he should at least make the effort to say "Please", the correct way when producing his video! Doesn't he know that his video could be seen worldwide? I really don't understand. Also, I would like to say, he does not only speak poor English; his Chinese and Hokkien is not that good as well. The fact that he uses three languages in his video suggests that he can't converse in any of the languages properly, and thus having to switch from one to another the moment he doesn't know how to express a portion of his thoughts in any of the languages.

Lastly, this whole issue is his own problem, I have no idea why he has to post this video online. He could just solve it privately, right? The worst thing was, he said that he thinks that producing such videos like Steven Lim is cool. Okay. Great example you are following, dude. The most hilarious part about this thing is that he claims that this 14year old guy is immature, not grown up yet, childish, lame, etc. But I find his actions even worse! Creating such a video is not cool at all, well yes it brings you fame within a day; you get lots of attention, but you're disgracing our country!

You can don't watch the first video, but do watch Dee Kosh's video! It's easy to access the media in Singapore; but I guess teenagers still need to be more educated to use the media the right way.

So after this whole Aaron Tan thing; an American guy on Youtube, FadedHolySoldier started creating videos about this Aaron Tan incident.

Alright; so there was some kind of a 'comment war' on Youtube between Singaporeans/Asians and this Youtuber..Well if you're bored you can spend your time reading on the comments; watching the videos; the reply videos.. (Which i don't have the time to do so, so i'm just going to touch on the main issues of the this whole incident. If not this blog post is going to be really long.) Okay actually I dont think the first video was really offending..Only some parts. And Ah is AHHHHHH not UN. TAN not CHENG CHONG CHING where do you see a 'C' ??? And yes hotsauce has nothing to do with all these. Aaron Tan is a disgrace; but he does not represent the whole of Singapore; or even Asia. He may not be able to speak proper English; but that doesn't mean that the majority of Singaporeans can't!

So people started commenting; arguments start; nasty things come out...And it goes on. You get what I mean yeah. I cant deny that the comments were really negative, nasty, horrible..etc. So I can't deny that the comments from Singaporeans are kindda offending. BUT FHS is also offending. He's also using the 'F' word very frequently. Racists? Singaporeans are not racists! FHS video is not wrong; but he has generalised the whole thing; blaming Singaporeans AND Asians. You can just comment on Aaron Tan; but not insult Asians and Singaporeans. But in this case, since he has touched on Asians and Chinese, and Singaporeans; he's wrong.

FHS initially posted a third video which he has already removed it. The third video was actually the one that got me pissed. He was talking about how uptight Singaporeans are, how we are unable to take humor, how we do not understand "sarcasm", and even talking about the Singapore government! Come on. The whole thing has nothing to do with our government. We understand sarcasm, we can take humor, but we cant take insults, alright? Also, the government has totally nothing to do with everything. In fact what's wrong with all these rules? They help to remove all the problems that would bring down the state of the country and increase efficiency, increase productivity, in conclusion, it boosts the country.

Hello! I'm back. Didn't post yesterday because I was really tired and busy checking weibo and watching YLBFB (娱乐百分百）Do watch the 14/12/2011 episode which had a portion on Already Famous! Yes I still owe a review on Already Famous which will be written, hopefully by end of this weekend!

Anyway, today was quite slack cos i've already finished my work and there's like nothing much to do; so i kindda spent my day watching the videos about Aaron Tan. i'll be talking about the whole incident; cos i've some stuff to reflect and comment on (in the next post)

hile I was watching a bunch of bullshit videos, Charis was drawing. Charis is so talented can! HAHA. And then we got really bored and started talking about people. And we went to change her desktop's screensaver...To things like "SO SIAN" / "I LOVE FEMALE MAG" k this is inside joke; refer to my twitter for more details.

Kindda happy today cos I listened to two interviews on One FM and 988FM (Malaysian Radio Stations) of Yalun ^_^ He's really confident of himself; and have strong belief in himself; which is something i lack. Hais. He reminded me something today again; no matter what decisions we make, no matter what we choose to do; we should never regret the things that we have never done. So, I still can't decide whether to go to Poly or JC.

After work Chloe and I went to get the spray paint to paint our shoes LOL. Then we thought people would scold us...

But one uncle actually came and tell us that what we did was creative. Okay epic.

Last thing before I end this post; saw this at Tampines! LOL Looks kindda scary cos he is all covered but then he's wearing a christmas hat! Chloe and I were chasing him from Century Sq to outside just to snap a picture of him. While on the way, a little boy was running towards him looking surprised too. HAHA. 我好像永远都长不大

Short post for today then I'm going to sleep!

Before work started today, the boss held a short briefing with the people; first time seeing such a thing. Apparently they follow this 5 day + OT on Sat work scheme. And the OT is voluntary; but they require 20 people on each Saturday. But apparently they always dont hit the 20 requirement...Just another piece of example to quote how pathetic the working class is; they go to work unwillingly, they rush to be the first to leave the work place at 6pm sharp. And they definitely dont wanna work extra. I dont want to grow up and chant "When will work end" everyday; Not dreading; but having this little enthusiasm. I dont want to end up being part of this pathetic working class. I want to look forward to working everyday.

Hello! Was playing around with another Camera application on my phone - Pudding Camera. Android users can try this application. I love it a lot! Note: Today's photos were all taken using that application!

And sorry this photo looks kindda weird LOL! Took this while on the shuttle bus to MRT station! :)

The camera application makes everything looks nicer. Really. See the grass and the tree leaves so green right! I looked out of the window and realised that the grass and leaves were so pale that they looked like they're dying. Screwed up weather. Seriously.

Today was a much better day as compared to yesterday; i guess probably cos we're getting used to the job, though it's still really boring. Charis seems rather irritated and bored of the job though LOL i wonder if i can survive the two weeks. Hmm. Hopefully. A couple came for work yesterday and i think they quit already! HAHA The job is really boring mehhh. And so the boss hired the JC student! We talked to her during lunch today and realised that she's going to study in New Zealand! WOW. She's really nice and shared a lot of stuff to us. And then theres another guy who is totally weird. He wears a hair band ok wtf. I can't believe there are people as weird as him. Wait; im referring to another him now. And he has that face that makes me 看了就不爽 . Shall stop talking about this guy.

Bought snacks after lunch and ate this while doing work. HEH. I wont want to work in an office seriously. Especially those kind where i have to stare at the comp for 8 hours a day. Really! I look at the whole lot of data until i thought the # sign was a number 8! OMG I hope my eyesight wont get worse :/

Actually work is quite boring, and not quite boring at the same time. Even though we're working at SPH, we're actually working for Open Net. You know the optic fiber thing? Cos we're just working at the place, but there're a lot of companies there. So yup. So the people around us pick up calls and call people to get the thing fixed in their homes. And it's super epic cos once in a while the people get pissed and say things like "Stupid" / "Waste my time!" / "I dont know what the hell you're talking." / "I dont understand your China friend." LOL It's hilarious. Seriously.

If you've followed my twitter, you should know that I've gotten a new pair of shoes! 高跟鞋真的能让人变得更有信心。要得到一样东西当然需要付出代价。Your feet gets tired of course! Oh I wanna get a red pair of shoes HAHA. :P Actually I quite like the colour red. haha. Cant decide whether i should get the red one with leopard prints or the Rubi shoes with floral prints!

You know what, I just want to say, 回家的感觉真好。Going to work is a really great experience. It increases my drive to "do what you want" But before you can do that, you have to work really hard to get to do what you want. After all, its what you want, so if you dont work hard for it, who will? Really, if you are not going to work hard for what you want, you'll end up doing something that you never wanted at first, and only work for money $$$, which is totally wrong!

PS: Wait till i have some time to rewatch 《那些年，我们一起追的女孩》then i'll write a blog post on it and Already Famous together. And until my work ends I will watch 《我可能不会爱你》and do blogposts on it on an episode basis. If you havent watched it yet, I reallllllyyyy recommend it. Really worth watching. Very meaningful.

I enjoy working with people; people accompanying me. But I would really love to be on my own sometimes. Dont you think sitting on a bus, next to a window is kindda nice? One of those times when you dont have to think about anything all. Sometimes, we really need to take a break and clear our minds.

I honestly can't wait for Christmas to be here (aka work to end). If not for my parents, I wouldnt even bother to get a job. Note: I never ever wanted to get a job! I only want $$$ money. After these two weeks sure im not going to work already. I want my holidays la; I want to write my stories, do my blogposts, watch my dramas, etc.

First of all, idk who told us to meet at the bus stop at 755 when the bus came at about 805 or something. FML. Next, we were supposed to report to work at 830 but apparently everything kindda started at around 1030. And I think we started doing stuff at around 1120. ~.~

While waiting, we actually met two students taking A levels this year (i think) ...They are quite friendly and nice i guess haha. They talked to us about some JC stuff; and apparently they were both in Arts Stream; taking History! Haha. Kindda interesting because I thought very few people take History! Anyway the guy told us that there were 6 extras for the Data Entry Job so the two of them 白来了 :( So sad leh!

After that we were led to our workspaces. And briefing about our job. Charis was like damn suay, cos she got the one that has the most to be done :( Anyway my workspace isn't mine; the person wasn't there today so I was sitting there. She (i think its a female) left her jacket on the chair; her slippers underneath, and the mug with water inside on the table (like WTF???!!!!)

Actually the job is really easy, it's like we just have to copy paste check copy paste next and again. Easy lah, but boring can. Especially when you work 8 hours a day, doing the same thing again and again. Then we went for lunch. Woah lunch was horrible can; their canteen only has two stalls - 菜饭 and Muslim. Okay...For the next two weeks, i'm just going to 打包 food from bedok inter/my house downstairs! Fml ttmx.

Oh wait did I mention, the work place is freaking cold seriously. K la whatever you can say i have no blubber or something zzz I'm going to wear my boots to work even though it has heels but it doesn't matter since i dont walk that much. Anyway, when the clock hits 6, you see everyone queuing the check out! WTH! Like all chionging home. You can see how pathetic the working class is man.

Damn, I'm not going to send myself to hell by getting a job with high pay but doing the same thing again and again. I used to ask people "won't you get sick of doing the same thing again and again for 30 years?" Now i think the question should be "won't you get sick of doing the same thing again and again for the whole day of 8 hours?!" Ohmygod; i think i going 崩溃 seriously. I suddenly want to say "I'd rather do Amath than doing such a boring shit."

I just want to get a job i like; I dont want a high-paid but boring job really.

Though I've said that I'm on a hiatus; there are really many things going on in my life during the holidays, so i'm still going to blog, but on a own time own target basis, so that i can take my time to complete each post slowly. Anyway, I've been out this whole week and so i'm probably quite unseen on social media...But i'm well updated alright!

Basically, we've been out this whole week in search of a job. Tiring; but at least we've got a job now! Going tomorrow and so i'll be even more unseen on the net! Damn, I still have to wake up at 7 everyday. Oh man there goes my sleep and nuaing at home. But at least I get to do some useful stuff and earn money. K i think i spent a lot already; should earn all the money back. :/ And I'll also have lesser time to blog, lesser time to watch dramas, etc. I'm really worried if I can finish my scrapbooks as farewell gifts in time :/

Chloe and I went to Caldecott Broadcast Centre aka Mediacorp yesterday to collect the autographed cards for Material Queen （拜金女王）Not knowing how to get there, I checked Google Maps, and it states that the nearest MRT station was Caldecott. So when we reached the station, we were the only two people that were in the MRT station. WOW. Then we took the escalator to make our way out of the MRT station, and realising that there was actually no one else, except for construction workers. The whole place was silent, empty. No cars too.

Basically, Mediacorp is hidden deeeeeeep inside. The most ironic thing is that there's actually a bustop nearby, which states "Opp Mediacorp" but when you look around, you actually dont see it. Its like INSIDE INSIDE INSIDE. We took at least an hour to get there from the MRT station when Google stated we would get there in 13mins. LOL. I think we walked past at least 8streets seriously. I could remember we walked past Olive St, Joan St, John St, Andrew St, and then when we called the Security Guard at some gate of Mediacorp, he says we have to walk a round to get to the Reception Area. You can imagine that our reactions were totally "FML WTF?!"

This is how empty Caldecott is. (Referring to the video above. Oh this is actually the first time im taking a video using my phone; i think the quality is quite good and better than my previous phone!) Actually I've never heard of the name until I was required to go there. It's really the first time experiencing an empty Singapore. Really. And while walking to the Broadcast Centre, we saw many BIGBIG HOUSES. Why are people so rich?! Seriously, I hope I can be that rich too. LOL.

And here're the autographed cards from Channel U. I'm not really a fan of Vanness Wu, so I'm planning to give it away :) But anyway I think the drama is not bad! So remember to watch it on every Sunday 915pm on Channel U! After we collected the cards, we decided to flag a cab back to the MRT station because we absolutely do not want to walk back to the MRT station. <- this is definitely a crazy idea. Guess what, when we got on the cab, the driver told us that the nearest MRT station is "Novena" / "Botanic Gardens". He doesnt even know "Caldecott" existed. Epic. Maybe thats the reason why it's empty.

After reaching Botanic Gardens MRT station, we realised that there is an overhead bridge. But guess what, there is even a lift to bring you up LOL. No need to climb any stairs! Botanic Gardens station was also another ulu place seriously; since we had some time, I decided to play around with my phone's camera and took some random pictures. Whoo, and I'm really satisfied with my phone! :)

After that we went to NEX for shopping! (without money) See all the pretty stuff and you cant buy them. How sad is that. :( But I still spent money on food when we saw Dessert Story and I couldnt resist temptation. Oops.

I bought the mango snow ice. Very nice!! But the mangoes were sour :/ I'm going to try the other flavours next time. HAHAHA. (Sorry for this awful picture; I now know that you cant take circular objects by place the camera directly above. It looks horrible.)

I like this picture more!! The Yam Cake looks delicious right! Though I don't like eating yam, the picture really looks good haha x)

After shopping for a while more we decided to head home. My legs really hurt; and they only recovered today. Bleargh. I still have a few other blog posts that I want to write and publish, but i guess it wouldnt be that soon so yeah. Happy holidays people! And those who are going back school in January, better start on your homework soon! :P

Hiatus.

Hello people who even read this. I really wonder who even reads this; i dont even go around reading peoples' blogs anymore..Because there's Facebook and Twitter to keep me updated of my friends' lives, etc. Well so anyway, this post is just to inform readers of this blog (which probably there arent any since im not any famous blogger) that i'll be going on hiatus from blogging. Actually i've been on hiatus for about more than a month, if you have noticed. Though i just recently updated a post about stuff after o levels.

Reason being, I am currently having my holidays now; and I realised that even during my holidays I have so many things to do and I'm really tired. I dont intend to blog, because I can post all the pictures that I take during my holidays on Facebook (which everybody can see, if you are my friend) also the fact that I take blogging more seriously now (to the level in which i think that blogs are a platform for you to share useful stuff for your readers) So I really want to use the time that i have during this holidays to really take a break and stop thinking "how should do this" ; "what do i have to do" at every moment in my life. I just want to 放空.

Basically, I just want to do things to the best if I want to do it. I dont know when I will start blogging again, but for now, I really want to do things that i've been missing out a lot and when i'm finally done with all the stuff that i want to do, i'll be back with a much more meaningful blog, hopefully! So yes, till then!

After O Levels.

O Levels has ended and it's been about a month since I blogged. I really feel like I've lost the ability to blog LOL. There're so many things to talk about and I really don't know where to start from. Okay so O Levels ended about 2 weeks ago...And it feels like these 2 weeks have been really long cos I've been really busy. - that's the reason why I havent been able to update my blog...I've been running here and there to many places to get things, meet people, etc. Yup. So really busy.

So firstly, we've had prom..(Mon, 21st Nov)

Prom, was okay. Just that many friends didnt turn up. Anyway the food was not very great, with fried vegetables. But the games and stuff were rather fun actually. Especially when the guys had to dress as girls LOL. And the selection of Prom King and Queen was really epic.

Then Chloe and I went for RED Camp (Tues, 22nd Nov)

We only went on Tues, cos basically, going to a camp with only a friend is utterly boring. Really boring. We visited the School of Humanities, School of Film and Media Studies, and School of Health Sciences and School of Life Sciences and Chemical Technology.

At the school of humanities...

I think this is performed by the students from the school of early childhood education or something, I cant remember the course name.

So at RED Camp we actually learnt a lot of cheers, there are 5 different tribes, the Apaches, Vikings, Ninjas, Centurions, Spartans. Lunch was great - with Spaghetti, Chicken, brownie. The Brownie was really delicious. Really felt that the RED Camp could be better organised, because there was too much waiting here and there and a lot of pausing in between, breaking the momentum. There's also a Mass Dance which we haved missed...But luckily we missed it and took the first bus, else we'd reach home really late, seriously. From Clementi to Bedok. OMG. Why are all the Polytechnics so far away.

School of Film and Media Studies is obviously cool, but if I were to go poly, i really cant decide between Mass Comm and Film, Sound, Video. There's even a CCA whereby you only need to watch a movie every week and you'll get a CCA point just like that! Cool huh. FSV students get to analyse movies too!

At the School of Health Sciences, they taught us "How to deliver a baby" LOL. And then you have all the scientific terms like placenta~ They even showed us the video, it was really disgusting seriously ._. School of Life Sciences and Chemical Technology was much more interesting.

We watched the liquid nitrogen experiment. I think i've watched it somewhere else before; so yeah, nothing new to me actually.. And then at some other course, we saw how liquid changes to solid immediately...Its something got to do with saturated salt solution or something. Yup. Dont really remember the theory but it was really cool. The lecturer said something about the thing would spread so when it touches it would change to solid. Its not a change of state, but an exothermic reaction.

So ya, if you are interested to go to Ngee Ann Poly, do visit their Open house form 5-7 Jan! 10am-6pm. You can take the MRT to Clementi and take some bus to get there. :)

So after prom and a whole day of activity, I slept for 12 hours on Wednesday and then i continued sleeping for 3 hours after I had lunch and surfed the net, so I slept for a total of 15 hours on Wednesday (LOL)

Went to get my phone on Thursday, and accompanied Chloe to get her mic. Though we didn't get the really professional one, but we learnt a lot of sound recordings and their hardware, and stuff. Yup. We're going to Charis' house on Wednesday to record and film stuff for our cover project! :)

Friday and Saturday was catching up with seniors! And playing around with my phone's camera + front camera heehee.

And yeap we were at Teo Heng. It was epic hilarious that day. Cos we were singing 亚纶's songs then Kelly and Lindy were being funny where Kelly was taking superbly close shots of him in the MV and Lindy helped her by pausing the video ._. It was really hilarious LOL Go check the facebook photos if you want HAHAHAH

If you are my friend, you should know that they are very important to me. 这感觉就如小鬼在 iWeekly 说的 “站在他旁边，我一直都很没自信。他太有自信了，就像只狮子，会给我一种感觉，他说的都对，做什么都帅。。。我的都不对。" 其实不是没有自信啦，只是不管自己有再多想法，到头来你还是会听他的，你还是会觉得自己是错的。可能就是 ”他的比较对“。就算你长大了，有了自己的想法，当他提议另一种想法，你还是会觉得自己是错的。我也不知道这是不是个不好的习惯，但我真的已经习惯了，以前是这样，现在也是这样，就习惯那种 ”你还是对的。“

Saturday we went to AHS Open House! And those juniors promoting their CCAs thought that I was p6 -_- Do I really look like a kid????!!! Dammit! I should have worn the CCA Tee!! HAHA And we went to queue for free icecream x) After that we went to visit the History room! And the science lab LOL. With the experiment that we have never done before :( K going back to school with seniors feels weird actually. Cos different class and different batch. Like I mean, ya we were taught by the same teachers, but the feeling is different....

Anyway after that I went to Kinokuniya and I finally bought my 《我可能不会爱你原创剧本》They imported lots of them into the shop LOL! I guess it must be of popular demand.

And then after that we went to Candylicious! Oh gosh the place is wonderful. LOL

I am feeling really tired. Going out everyday for the past two weeks...Resting at home today, but still doing things...I have like so many things to do seriously. I dont think I can finish doing them before my school starts. Needs to treasure today and take some rest. I need to go out tomorrow again. And Wednesday too... And I need to start making Farewell gifts. Busy. Till then. (Erps I havent done my 2nd video; cos I suddenly dont know which topic to talk about. I havent started writing my story, cos I'm really too tired to think.)

10月19日是布丁节哦。
布丁节的来源其实很有意义也很感人哦。亚纶的生日是 11月20日，月日各减一就是 10，19。布丁们会在10月19日开始庆祝布丁节，直到亚纶的生日。1120 - 1019 = 101 ，代表布丁们会支持亚纶，爱着他 “一生一世”。

就像布丁们在 “爱你的歌” 所说的：想要守护你不变，决不背叛的爱恋，什么都无法动摇我的信念。要陪你到永远，说好要在一起不分隔。

Basically, when I was in Primary School, i have little contact with the media, and so I didn't listen to the Chinese songs then. When I got into Secondary School, I only listened to English songs (probably cos of influences by seniors, etc.) I have tried getting myself into Kpop, but I just can't find something that i really like.

So about 2 months ago? (August around there i guess, cant remember when) I was watching Love Buffet ,爱似百汇 (Some Taiwan Drama, I recommend you to watch if you have not.) because I wanted to see Cynthia Wang （王心如）'s acting. Then I listened to the themesong, 守护星 , by Fahrenheit, 飞轮海 and I really love it!! Then I fell in love with Aaron Yan （炎亚纶）Have to admit it he really did his role 形一诚 very well there!

So I started to listen to 飞轮海's songs, and realised that their songs are actually not bad ^^. Also cos at that time, I was not really interested in listening to English songs and I have ran out of stuff to listen to. Seriously, look at LMFAO's Sexy And I Know It. Horrible. The song gives me goosebumps, the MV disgusts & disturbs me. And then I went to listen to 炎亚纶's songs and OHMYGAWD I SERIOUSLY LOVE HIS VOICE. Friends who know me know that I CANT STAND SLOW SONGS. But Aaron Yan totally changed my perspective.

Today I was sorting out my magazines (dont know for what. Just random) And I realised I actually collected stuff of 飞轮海 and 炎亚纶 without me knowing over the years. LOL. Like too coincidental. 太巧了。真的命中注定让我爱上他 :D

There was a coverage for NEmation!5. But there's actually a Fahrenheit poster in it!

And so in the end, I actually have 2 posters with me collected way before I even know/like them/him. I was laughing at how coincidental all these are! I cant say that I'm really a crazy/devoted fan since I only know them for like 2 months compared to people who have already known them for 6 years...But Aaron Yan is really good okay.

And there. Rolled them up and tied them with two of my rubber bands cos I was in my room and I dont have rubber bands. Another coincidental scene: The sky blue one for Aaron Yan's poster (blue!!), the red one for 太热 poster. (Hot = Red ma!)

I was surfing the net the other day, and i saw this :

It's an entry by someone who posted on Facebook for the concert that Aaron Yan would be attending in Malaysia. OMG I love that bottom left hand corner poster can! And she has the 霹雳 MIT poster at the top right hand corner too! And I love the one he's holding the pigeon too!

I am hopelessly in love with Aaron 炎亚纶. I may not be a fan in the past, but I am now, and I believe I will continue to be, because I support good music! (Y) His voice is really damn awesome. I have been looking for the 霹雳 MIT Photobook/Poster! Will add to the list of things I want after O Levels. For now, 3 days to O levels! It's 9 days to O Levels! I'm damn scared, even though i've studied really hard, I know there's a possibility of not knowing how to do the first question for the Amath paper and panicking and then making lots of careless mistakes, resulting in another C5 even though i have every capability of scoring an A1. I know there's also the possibility of failing English, because i've even scored just only 1 mark for my compre, out of 25. I also know that there's this possibility of not scoring A1 for humanities because i've scored 14 for my SS SEQ, which I had never expect to happen. I also know that there's this possibility of writing out of topic for my Chinese Paper1, and i really need to score at least a B3 or A2 for HCL.

I am so scared. I have met so many failures, but i have never given up, I have never stopped working hard, so I really wish I could do well for this O levels. Because I know if i were to screw up more than one subject, i wouldn't be able to get to anywhere. Even poly courses would require 9 points.

But thanks to all those who have gave me words of support - friends, seniors, fellow bloggers, fellow puddings. Really very grateful for all your 加油s and words! So I will work harder for the next 8 days and during the O Level period, for myself, of course. Will remember all those who have given me support and help all this while. (:

Forensic Heroes 3

I was watching Sunshine Angel these few days. (When I get bored of studying, I watch dramas while doing work. This keeps me going and allows me to waste lesser time. ) Got really disappointed with this drama cos the plot is so predictable and it's so boring cos the plot is so slow moving. Blah. So for those who are planning to watch this drama, I would suggest that you skip it. I think GengFei (I dont know whats the actor's name oops.) acted better than Yaxin (Wuchun).

By the way, Forensic Heroes 3 is starting on 10/10/11!!! GREAT. Finally can get rid of Sunshine Angel.

Even though they have changed the whole cast, and I was quite sad at first cos I really love 高sir and the rest, but I think Wayne Lai would do a good job! And I still believe that the plot will still amaze me like it always does :D

昨天，我们毕业了！

We all wrote cards and gave flowers to our beloved form and co-form - Mdm Ho and Mdm Norliza!

Heard the speech by Claudia, read the post by Paul, and I was inspired to write a message too. Really, I feel that we all have grown so much in these four years, and it feels really great to see that at the end of the four years, i realised how many people have helped me along the way, allowing me to successfully get to where I am today. So to those who have not read the note, read it here! I hope I have mentioned everyone who have helped me before, if not, then I will thank you here, no matter who you are!

Yesterday the school gave us a photobook done by Dasmond Koh. After looking at a number of photobooks from Taiwan dramas, etc, I got really inspired and I now really want to start a photoblog! Hopefully I can do that after O Levels, but I guess I need to do more research and practice more on photography! Just like they say "A picture speaks a thousand words.". If I can take nice + inspiring + great pictures, adding a few words to go with it, it'll be so awesome!!

I love Fridays cos I use the time I have in the afternoon to surf the net and catch up on stuff. K lah I will study later okay! So this is an update post~

#1 I really want to get a Diana F+ Deluxe Kit! I am in love with the look/style the photos it produces. OMG. The Diana F+ Deluxe Kit comes with the Diana Instant Back+ , which means it would act like any Instant Polaroid, like the Fujifilm Instax which many people have!

Today's post is about the last day of N.E.mation!6. For some, but to the Top 10 teams, the REAL journey has YET to begin! So the day started of with the Top 20 teams doing their Super Pitch. So what is a Super Pitch? It is like a presentation the Top 20 teams have to do to a panel of 5 judges selling their 'product' (story), in hope that the judges would like their 'product' and pick them (into the Top 10 teams) ! The SuperPitch is like the most important thing in the whole of this competition, as it is the last lap before the final results of the Top10 teams.

Ohmygawd, the judges are so near them! It's so scary! The moment your voice shivers or when your hand is trembling, they definitely can spot your nervousness.

One requirement of the SuperPitch is that teams have to draw out their ideas on storyboard panels.

Teams can also act out their story to provide the judges a clearer image and understanding of their story. Basically, it is just a presentation and the students are selling their 'story', so they can just any method to make the judges buy into their story! Like acting, singing, dancing, etc! :)

After the pitches, the students gathered at the Lecture Theatre and I took this opportunity to interview some of the teams!

After that, Mr Jason showed the students the movie - Tangled. I suppose the movie managed to calm down the nerves of the students while they were waiting anxiously for the results to be out, but I suppose some of them must be feeling really scared and nervous at the moment that they did not enjoy the movie fully as I am sure the only thing in their mind was - Did we get into Top10?

After that was the announcement of the Top 10 teams!

Everyone would wish that they could get in because they have already spent 1 week of their holidays at NYP! It would be a pity if they didn't get in right? But sadly, however friendly this competition may be, it IS still a competition at the end of the day, and there would still be winners and people who didn't win. I have uploaded some of the videos of the announcing of the results onto youtube, so here's a preview of what actually happened on that day!

The kind of joy that can only be expressed by screaming out loud and telling everyone that you have done it, that is the joy that all the teams who have made it into the Top 10 feel, I believe. I guess some must have felt it unimaginable or felt so surreal. For those who did not make it into Top 10 must have felt like reality just crushed on them and that everything just ended like that with a sentence. It's the kind of feeling that nobody would understand, because this competition isn't really about how good your skills are, it's really whether the story, the message that you want to tell can buy people's hearts and minds and souls and whatever. LOL.

Congratulations to all who have made it into the Top 10 teams, your journey is just about to begin! (After your EOYs end, and your holidays start..) To all those who did not make it into the Top 10 teams, there is always N.E.mation!7 and 8 and 9 and 10 and so on! I believe those who did not make it into the Top10 teams have also learnt a lot of new things, like new knowledge about animation through their one day animation course, and also made new friendships with the instructors and also people from other schools! So do keep in contact by adding each other on Facebook! :)

This is a rambling post okay! So you can skip this post if you want to.

Received Prelim 3 results. One word to describe it: Unexpected. Good and bad. Was really disappointed with my humans ): Never mind, I will study harder for humanities! Even sadder for Amath. From C5 to A1 and back to C5 again. Like seriously???? 又被打回原形了. English was unexpectedly well done, well the mark is VERY GOOD, but i still think my essay is NOT THAT GOOD. Like seriously, i'm not trying to be humble (LOL.) I really think it could be done better. I feel that I don't have enough things to say and I keep repeating my point because I can't express myself properly cos i dont know what word to use to describe/express/elaborate my point. Totally LOL-ed when I received my paper. Shocked lah, I still don't believe it. Especially when Joel peeped at Mdm Norliza's mark sheet haha. x) He has good eyesight. LOL.

Mock Exam (you can call it Prelim 4) is coming up next week and i havent started studying. I've got the motivation to study since like the Term started, but I've been sick for the past few days, and seriously can't focus and I just feel like sleeping all the time. HAIS. Feel damn guilty for not studying because o levels is coming in 40 days! OMG. I have like uhm 5 days to one subject? LOL die. No lah won't die, die also will 拼 finish ok!

Not happy with my L1R5. No Study break. Sad. ): But never mind, go school mug together with friends also good! I will start mugging once I recover! And I will finish up my blog post too. dramas, dramas, more dramas!

And Sunshine Angel which will be shown on Channel U. I have read the synopsis myself, I find the plot so-so, nothing interesting actually, it seems very much like those typical dramas....But since I heard that it is a big production (A lot of money has been put into this drama), and that I have not yet seen Wuchun act, so i decided to catch this series! Well, if it's not nice then I will stop watching it, just like what i've done to 美乐加油. I still cant bring myself to finish that series! Because i really find the part from the car crash toooooooooo epic and cliche.

And not to forget Forensic Heroes 3 which will air in HK in mid Oct. Luckily i have these dramas to accompany me through my studying period. Sorry, I am not a mad mugger toad. I never was, not now, and never will be. I will do my best, but at my own pace, with the method i wish to use. I will never follow others and shut my comp for the next 45 days. OH GAWD 45 DAYS. BYE IM GOING TO MUG TOMORROW :P ...And watch Smurfs on Sat. You know they say it takes a Taurus forever to change its bad habits.

experiencing animation

The Top 20 Teams for NE6 are out...And they spent a day trying out animation!

Just like what Mr Joshua said, "It's to see if you really can commit into the three weeks." Well, that's true. The real production is three weeks long, from 9am-6pm daily! (Actually more of 9am-9pm since most teams would OT to finish their work. There's just too much to be done!)

Before they get to experience making their own animation, a short little briefing was done at the Lecture Theatre.

Animation can be as simple as those bird in cage where there is a bird on one side and a cage on the other side of the paper then you spin the paper! Animation is actually a trick to the human eye, with many images, tricking the human eye to thinking that the object is actually moving. Do you know that if you get into the Top10 teams, you'll get to have that spinning thing as a trophy for your school? ^^ It's definitely the most unique trophy in the school cabinet.

After that the Top20 teams were divided into two groups, one trying Stop-Motion animation, using Animaker, while the other trying 2D animation, using Toon Boom Studio.

Your characters can be different! It depends on how you want it to look like, what colour, etc.

Briefing by the instructor (Sorry, I don't know what's his name :x) on what to do.

Teams then went ahead to draw out and cut out their characters and stuff like rain drops and puddles for their animation!

They were also required to write out a shopping list, so as to get the things done!

The animation that they had to make was rather sadistic actually. Cos eventually the character will die due to acid rain! See that RIP?

That's the webcam where you take a picture, many pictures, to form the animation! Remember not to have shadows casted or shake/bang the table!

After that the students were taught how to use the Animaker software and they started animating!

Shift bigger spaces if your character is moving Fast, slightly more if at a Medium speed, and overlapping each other if it is moving at a Slow speed. You can capture more frames if you want to hold that position!

Teamwork is important to create a successful animation. Do you have that spirit?

And then we all watched the clips made by the teams! :)

Animation is all about creating your own world~ So enjoy and laugh at unrealistic things that could never happen in the real world! And here's the clip done by the NEmation! Ambassadors:

Sara said it is kind of NC16. LOL. So sadistic right. But at least there wasn't any blood coming out from the penguin's head :x If not it'll be like Happy Tree Friends or something. Cute yet sadistic and disgusting :O

Back when i was in NE4, we actually did clay/plasticine animation. But Mr Joshua says that the motive of doing paper animation instead of clay animation is because clay animation actually has the same concept as the 2D animation where you have the parts joined to together and moving the parts of the character. Well, it's a pity that they don't get to try the clay animation because i think creating the worm was cute and fun :P

Okay, let's move on to the 2D animation room!~ I think they were taught the draw and paint tool first. And then the students were left to try out on their own~ Look at all the cute drawings!

If only flowers can have different colours on each petal :P Thats the animation world~ It does not have to be real! If it's real, you could just film it, why create an animation then?

After that Nik taught the students the Group tool. "Let's draw Mr Jason. Don't tell him ah." LOL. What kind of weird green creature is that!

If you don't group the parts together, the eyeball will be detached from the eye! OMYGOSH. Why are the lessons so sadistic?

Why so serious? O_O Must remember the steps!

Is that a hamster? Or a cow? Or a hybrid? Whatever it is, it is cute! :P

We didn't return back to the 2D animation team as we were busy making our animation, but here is the animation that The-Big-Bang did in NE4 back then (which is similar to what the 2D animation team did after we left)

There you have the frog, I saw a student replaying it again and again through the window haha! After that, the students were given Koufu vouchers for them to have their lunch for the 3 days while they are at NYP!

So i've reached the end of my post, and it's officially TWO more days to pitching for Top10 teams! I can't wait to experience the drama, horror, sadness and happiness from the audience this Saturday! I could still remember that was what happened back in NE4 when they were announcing the results for Top10...

The previous time I spammed a song for days was Born This Way by Lady Gaga, and then the Glee version. I never thought I would actually break the record, but it did happen. I actually listened 只看见你 — 炎亚纶 for like at least one week already. Spamming actually means replay and replay and replay until you go sleep. x) I have to say that I really DISLIKE slow/emo songs. Whether it's Chinese or English songs. But I can't believe I can actually spam 只看见你 for so long!

I really love his voice OMG. His voice is like superbly nice. There's like no word that can be used to describe it. LOL. 超迷人的歌声。

Next. I never once watched a drama more than once. Not even my favourite Forensic Heroes. But I actually watched Love Buffet with Aaron Yan twice. And Im planning to watch it for the third time. He's role in Love Buffet is just soooooooooo mesmerising. And dear people who think that Aaron ACTS to be CUTE, he doesnt. I have tons of evidence to prove it to you!

He doesn't even need to act. He just have to stare at you, and say "不要忘记了，我也是个男人耶。" It's like OMFG soooooooooo cuuuuuuuttttttttttttteeeeeeee I-dont-know how to describe it.

And just like what people on Tumblr say, "HAVE YOU SEEN A MAN LOOK SO STINKING HOT IN PINK???

I THINK NOT. AARON IS HAWT HANDS DOWN."

I love the new him too -the superbly hawt him! It's so epic that his songs are like stuck in my head, he is stuck in my head, I see him even at Comics Connection, and Kbox (like we havent chosen the song and the song that has been pre-selected is his song.) I can't get rid of him from my mind T_T

I like him not only because he looks good (like duh), he is so 细心! He would even write long notes on his album when giving to his fans and he would always give his best in whatever he does. He wants to tell people that idols not only look good, but that they can sing! He is always trying to improve himself, and hope to do a better job than the previous time. "現在誰還敢說炎亞綸只是偶像派.?!

絕對是實力派的偶像啊...."

Top 100 Briefing Session

HELLO!
Congrats to all Top 40 teams! So. How do you like the way results were announced today for Top 40? Even though I was not there today...I suppose what happened was the same as last year for NE5. So basically all the teams would be given an envelope similar to this: (Photo credits to Dionne)

And I still remembered back then we were all wondering what was inside the envelope, some people tried to shine the envelope with the light to see if they could see anything. But sadly, there were only weird shapes like these:

The words were added by us, so yeah! it's supposed to be just a circle.

So which shapes actually represented a "Pass" this time round? x) Heh, I just love Results Time. The instructors would always make it super scary and exciting and they would even play music that makes your heart beat faster x10!

Tomorrow is another round of pitching! Good luck to all and hope to see you Top 20 teams on Wednesday when we the NE6 Ambassadors go visit for your Animation workshop! You would get hands-on on some 2D animation and stop-motion! It'll be fun!

Those of you who attended Session1, you must be dead tired that day to wake up so early in the morning! But I suppose all of you had fun? :) Remember the group shots you guys took when you registered? These photos will stay with you and follow you throughout your NE6 journey!

So after the briefing by Mr Srinivas Bhakta, do you have more ideas about animation already? From my perception, animation is such a great and mighty business to be done. It's like those animators have to draw so many frames and scenes just to produce a short animated clip. (Do you know that one second consists of 24 frames?)

I really admire their passion for drawing. Because of this passion they have, they could continue to persevere and have that patience to produce to best for the audience. So one thing N.E.mation! has taught me is to never watch Animated movies online! If you want to watch it, go to the cinemas! Maybe it doesn't sound very tedious to you yet but I'm sure you'll understand this once you give it a try!

So let's all clap for their amazing works!

One thing you can take away from him is that even if you cant draw and do not have superb drawing skills, with a story that has an important message you wish to spread and tell other people, you can do the impossible. If you have been to the Story Development workshop carried out by Animagine, you would have learnt that

Story is King.

So don't be afraid if you can't draw or don't know any skills about animation, because if you have a good story, chances are, you will get through Top 10! Because an animation done with superb animation skills but with a poor story will never capture peoples' hearts and minds. On the other hand, an animation with a good story but mediocre animation skills will capture peoples' hearts.

Next up, we have a talk by Miss Pin Lay on some presentation tips! Starting off with an activity to get the students to throw papers into the box.

Were you paying attention and copying notes? Well, don't worry if you have missed it, here are some keypoints to summarise what Miss Pin Lay has said!

1. Don't talk to fast or too slow.

2. Use affirmative words.

3. Stand in a stable position.

4. Look at the audience. A few at a time.

5. Don't memorise the script. Only memorise keypoints.

6. Keep It Short And Simple

7. Do enough preparation.

8. Don't speak too long. Just the important stuff.

9. Give a good impression.

10. Use visual aids (eg Powerpoint, drawings, etc)

Then was break time! Did you like those army rations? :D The students tried some of the army rations like the dessert and the biscuits/fruit bars! I thought the fruit bar was really too sweet.

I thought the biscuits tasted nice. I was curious about what's inside the dessert pack so I was looking around to see if anyone opened the pack but I realised no one opened it! So we bloggers decided to open a packet.....But i didnt dare to try it x)

Sarah actually tried it, so if you want to know how it tastes like, do check out her blog too! She claims that it tastes nice (she says it tasted like water chestnut....But oh well I am not that brave to try it :P)

So this year's theme is actually NS: From Fathers to Sons; and I thought that I should just do a post purely on information about the National Service. Recently, my school (Anglican High School) brought the whole Secondary Four Level to the OCS (Officer Cadet School). In this post, I will talk about things that I have learnt, stuff that I have seen/heard from the people there, and also some main points that I have caught from the 4 people who have shared in the Top 100 Briefing session today.

There are no pictures for my visit to OCS because photography was not allowed, but below are some of the videos/photos which I have taken while the 4 people were speaking at the Top 100 Briefing Session, just in case you need it for reference/inspiration throughout your 1-week selection process as you improvise your seed idea and turn it into a great story!

So main point is Keep An Open Mind! So basically when I was in OCS, I learnt that the leaders actually have to be strict because they have a huge responsibility. They are responsible for their people, and therefore they have to ensure their safety, and their lives, so they have to take everything seriously. Nobody would want to see any injuries or death during physical training or anything.

And I also learnt that the guys become very good cookers and cleaners because they would have to cook for themselves in NS when they are out, and they also have to clean their bunks (they would be checked on whether there are any dust particles, so if there are dust particles found, they would have to continue cleaning.) They also have to clean their guns/rifles very meticulously because there are many small holes and areas that they have to clean. And according to them, each time they fire, carbon particles would be left behind. So if they do not clean it properly, their rifles would jam and they would not fire/work! This is especially serious IF there is real enemy in front of you!

Basically right, NS is a must for all Singaporean Males. Like what one of them have said, they would not want to return to NS again if they had a chance too. It's not like they hate it, it's just that nobody would want to do it again. But it's the kind of thing that you know you have to go through in your life once, and after going through it, it will actually bring more good than bad to you, even though it will be a tiring, tough process. It sorts of like turns the males from boys to men, it makes them more independent, and through the process, you make new friends, learn new things, suffer together, and at the end of the day, everyone pass out together, thankful that it's the end of everything.

NS is also not a test on Physical Strength only. It is a test on Mental Strength. You have to have that perseverance and determination to continue. One main big part of NS is also the support from family and friends. Small little gestures can play a big part and allow the guys to continue with their 2 years of service. So, you can actually turn your story into a very heartwarming one, and change many people's views about NS , like NS is torturous and that there's nothing to talk about it. NS is actually the love and support that people give to one another (among Section mates, platoon mates, etc) it also among friends and family members for the guys.

So thats my perception of NS. Whats yours?

Teachers' Day Celebration performance was disappointing, they totally spammed videos just to kill time. We were expecting to have more performances and even thought that many people would perform with all the Kpop songs. In the end there wasn't even a single Kpop performance and there was only one dance item with all English songs. HAHA. And the videos are of poor quality with shakes and poorly edited since the end parts always get cut off. Boring. Worst was that both our teachers weren't in school that day, so it felt like a failed Teachers Day. The game at the end was obviously a failed one, since nobody really wanted to play it. And our class totally cheated off it. LOL.

After the Teachers' Day Celebration I walked back to bedokgreen only to realise that visiting hours only start at 1330. No wonder the school was so quiet then with no one playing basketball or frisbee. So I walked back home from there. Disappointment. ): Then I met with some of my primary school friends at around 1330, and we went in. Suddenly it feels like I no longer have a sense of attachment for my primary school. Maybe I've finally lived off the past. It just feels like you are no longer part of it, but those memories will never leave your mind. The end.

I then went to find the rest at Kbox at Bedok Point. Charis was an epic crazy fan of Fahrenheit back then. HAHAAHAH. Like so funny so we started spamming Fahrenheit songs x) And Charis even said Aaron was the only one who can sing among the 4. WAHAHAHA~ And I just saw this on facebook:

Like totally. I can't stand his gaze/stare. It feels there's too much voltage or current or power or whatever it is. (Sorry, my Physics failz) So I decided to change my wallpaper because he's too distracting! OMFG. Anyway, I think its 52 days to O Levels, so I'm going to start mugging and I don't think there'll be anything else for me to blog about after the Holidays end, probably Graduation or something. I will push back all my drama reviews to after O Levels okay! 6 points here I come~ Oh yes, Happy Holidays to all readers, and remember to vote for me as an N.E.mation! Ambassador here. 当中的人物发展包括了００７（炎亚纶主演）和天魔星（鬼鬼主演）。天魔星喜欢００７，但００７对天魔星没有好感，天魔星一直跟着００７，但天魔星总是给００７很多麻烦，让００７非常的烦，因为他无法结案／抓犯人。他一再的防抗让天魔星非常的伤感，发誓从此以后再也不颤着００７，答应以后再也不回给他任何的麻烦。７４７（小鬼主演）喜欢天魔星，可是天魔星对他没有好感。后来００７接受了天魔星，告白方式：给了天魔星一个幸运饼，里边的字条写着　“你是我的巧克力”　意思：天魔星最喜欢幸运饼了，而００７最喜欢的事巧克力，在戏中会看见００７每次都回拿着M&M巧克力。

on the fringe event

First post after my Prelim 3! (Okay, it hasn't actually ended since I have still have one more Bio Paper 1 on Wednesday :X) Went shopping at Far East and decided to head to Cathay Cineleisure Orchard since the casts in On The Fringe would be there.

It was definitely a wrong decision to have no barrier since there was really overwhelming response from the public. I reached at around 3:50, and by then A LOT of people were already there that you can't even cross to enter. Looking at the crowd was scary enough.

And then people starting screaming and cheering the moment they arrived in the bus, even though I could not see anyone at all, and according to some, the windows were blocked so we could not see anyone in the bus at all. They came down, and people starting chasing them. Some were cheering even though they could not see them at all. It was massive, chaotic and really crazy.

So they moved and here are the photos for you to enjoy!: (Please click on the photos for clearer view. Sorry for some blurred pictures!)

Sorry for some of the blur pictures. People kept pushing and there were many people raising their cameras and phones to take pictures so i was blocked and had a difficult time to snap the photos! It started raining after that and the people from Channel8 couldn't control the crowd as everyone kept pushing and they were unable to move. So they decided to cut short the event because there was nothing they could do to control the crowd!

Holding tight onto each other in case they get hurt too! And so they left.

However, if you have not had the chance to meet the casts, there will be another one coming up! Do look out for it!

thoughts and aspirations

'Sup people! :) The September School Holidays are coming realllyyyy soon and that also means that your journey for N.E.mation!6 is just about to begin! So ARE YOU READY? Well I am! I can't wait to see you guys on 3rd September at Nanyang Poly! Because I'm returning to this competition not as a participant now but as a blogger for the competition! I can't wait to see different ideas and perspectives from you guys on the theme of NS: From Father to Son, because honestly, I find this theme so solid and serious that i couldn't think of anything interesting/creative/fun to talk about! Well that's partly because I'm taking my O Levels this year and my life revolves around Bio...Chem...Physics...Math...(you know all the rigid and boring stuff. It's killing my brain cells and creative juices!)

So I'm in the midst of taking my Preliminary Examinations now and it will end just before the September School Holidays start! And I was really happy that I actually got shortlisted for the NEmation! Ambassasdor competition as I would get to take a break from studying during this holidays and to join in the fun with all of you at NE6! On the other hand, I was shocked and I'm a little nervous about this as I'm only a Secondary 4 student and I am neither a professional blogger nor a professional photographer! But I am sure this will be a great experience for me, and of course for you, if it's your first time participating in this competition!

For those who did not get selected as the Top 100 teams, it's okay, there's always next year for you to try, and you can always follow me as I update about the competition!

Oops I just got too carried away talking about my thoughts that I forgot to introduce myself. Since this is probably the first post that you are reading from me, I shall do a short introduction! I am Joohwee, currently a Secondary 4 student studying in Anglican High School. I have already ~~retired~~ stepped down from/handover to my juniors in Infocomm Club.

Looking up at the sky and see the blue sky, the fluffy clouds, sometimes it'll really give you great inspiration. I'm finally a step closer to my dreams - doing what I like doing. One of my aspirations is to work in the Media Industry. I like the multi-media platform. Not only blogging, but videotaking and photoshooting. So I really hope I can experience new things, make new friends (with you guys), meet the other bloggers and learn from them through doing my job as an N.E.mation! Ambassador.

HELLO! 大家好! Heh. Feeling really happy nowadays even though I havent finished studying for Prelim3 .....I always feel happy after I watch a drama x) And so today i'm going to talk about <Love Buffet> / <爱似百汇>

Before that, you guys should listen to the song I posted in my previous post, it's the theme song and I really love it OMG. Anyway. I really like Love Buffet a lot!!! Okay I only like the Reen and Aaron's part because they are SUPER CUTE. Wait, I only like characters in dramas, I dont like the actors so yeah. I'm not like any other girl who goes around saying "OMG THIS GUY DAMN CUTE" -_-" (for every single guy) Wait, but this time is different, Aaron is really damn cute lah.

So I was very disappointed with the drama's ending because Aaron and Reen didn't get together and I was super pissed because they spend so much time trying to build Aaron's character then they didnt create an ending that I wanted ): I really think Aaron is more suitable for Reen in the drama! I dont know why, but I seriously think Calvin and Reen didnt give me that kind of feel so I got bored and stopped watching halfway after watching the ending because it was all about Calvin and Reen. I think Calvin can't bring out his role enough. But seriously there wasnt much development on Calvin character. Bleh.

He always scolds her “笨蛋”.

And somehow Reen always falls so he always has to piggyback her.

Wahahaha, sorry I need to go study already so I have to shorten this post ): 我真的很喜欢阿一！它太可爱了 ^^ ~~Heh, but I dont really like 炎亚伦. His other hairstyles look ugly and the songs in his own album are boring so yeah.~~ (Edit: I think he's damn cute ^^ and I really like his voice!! But I prefer the old yanyalun than the 下一个炎亚纶. He's new hairstyle looks good too, but it feels like there's a great change :x) Bye! Time to study again. Mehhhhhhhh. How I wish I can film such nice dramas too ): Singapore's dramas are really ....................I have nothing to say le. I learn new things each time i watch a new drama. This time i learnt that making the audience love the character is important!! Okay bye! :)

Poly or JC?

Have you ever thought of what you would want to do when you get older? What is your main criteria when it comes to choosing a job? Choosing what you want to study? Study something that your parents wanted you to study? Then take up a job that your parents wanted you to do? Have you ever thought that it is your life that you are living and no one else can actually make a decision for you other than yourself? I mean, really, what would happen if you defy your parents? Would you be happy if you did what they wanted you to do? I often tell my friends, you are going to work for 50 years; maybe at least 40 years. If you don't like that job, how are you going to survive? Then some people tell me: The job has a high pay. Do you really want to be the slaves to the money?

Typical mindset of Singaporeans: Primary - Secondary - JC - Uni

Then tell me, do you really apply all the Sciences that you learn in your job? Unless you are a teacher/engineer/researcher/doctor/idk what. Two different routes. JC or Poly. People say that it is easier to get into the University if you go to JC. Yah, I think so too, but that will only happen if you score well in A Levels. So what if you don't? Then why not pick a course that you like in Poly and score well and get into Uni? Besides all that you learn in JC is not going to be very much useful and at least you have some skills acquired form Poly....

People say JC life feels like everyday is O Levels. What, I've had enough. I don't want to spend another 2 years memorising some crap that I find so meaningless. I think I've already reached the maximum; if I have to do more I really think I won't be able to take up the stress and boredom. And I might just give up and fail. -_-" I used to thought that Science is fun in Primary School that's because I didn't have to memorise any shit and I had fun. Then I hated Science because I had to memorise shit and once I miss out one bloody keyword I couldn't get that mark. Is studying really about whether you can hit all the keywords? Shouldn't it about your understanding? It's not that I don't know. I know. But I just can't remember how to write it in a scientific way! I still remember I could answer all the questions in my Science paper using my own words in Primary School. But now i depend on memory so much that when you give me a paper after my exams I seriously could not do it because I can't remember a thing and I can't give you an answer in my own words. That's what the education system is teaching me. It's teaching me how to recall from my memory and not using my understanding to explain in my own words!

Why go JC and study subjects that you were never interested in, that you never had passion in, that maybe you hated, and torture yourself, and waste your time.......Then again I don't know whether I can get into a university if I go to Poly. And then I also don't know if I would really like the course that i take. Why are we all so scared of making mistakes? Why are we such perfectionists? Why would we do something that we don't like to reach our goal rather than do try something that we think we would like? All in all, we still want to get a certificate and get a good job with a good pay and lead a good life. Why are we all so “文凭挂帅”? Why are we all so “金钱挂帅，功利主义”? Why are we all slaves to money?

Why are we so kiasu, kiasi? So can someone tell me, Poly or JC?

O levels feel just like another test that i dont take it seriously

I feel like I've done nothing for Prelim 3. I think it's about 12 days to Prelim 3. But I have tests every single day and because I have tests I have to spend like 3 hours everyday memorising. But that's not helping me because after memorising I will just forget and I have to memorise again on the day before of each paper. It's just sacrificing my studying time. Why do teachers keep thinking that tests will help? It doesn't help. All I need is just peace to study non stop without any pauses. I think I have only around one week left.

By right I should have finished studying all three sciences and leave the humanities for the next week. But how awesome I haven't really completed a single topic of any subject.........And my physics is like rotting. Why can't teachers just stop giving tests??!!! Maybe spamming tests will help for some people. But every single person has a different way of studying, why do we all have to do the same thing? It may be helping some people but IT DOES NOT HELP ME AND IT IS KILLING ME.

No matter what I must get that bloody 10points and get through the requirement for study break (if theres any but i doubt so since i heard after Prelim 3 we're having Mock Exam. AWESOME HOR.) and I just lock myself at home and mug non stop until I go crazy. People say JC life is like everyday is like O levels. I think I will go nuts if I go JC. But where else can i go? Poly?

I'll be on hiatus. I have like 23x4 (Bio, Chem, Phy, Amath) + 2x4 (SS + History) chapters to study in 15 days so i'm really screwed up. No more naps and no more sleeping at 1130. Bleargh. After Prelim Three I'll blog about teachers' day; and movies! Gonna watch Smurfs 3D and the Glee movie.

P.S. Anyone has any bets on which topics will come out for O levels SS and History 2011?? SEQ. SS is it Theme 1 and 2? (Healthcare+Governance / SL&NI + Racial Harmony) History is it Japan, Germany/Russia? Oh screwed I hate the Japan topic.

我好像已经失去为人打抱不平的个性了

侮辱人
本来是你不对
但怎么到头来是你骂了他却拍拍屁股的离开了呢？
恶人先告状，
哪儿有这种道理呀？

他后来发了脾气，
不知道的人可能以为他有错，
但事情往往不是表面看来得那么简单
我们的确要了解了才能下定论。

侮辱人
本来是一件非大的事情
但他们怎么还能笑着面对呢？
我真的难以接受羞辱这行为。

表面上什么都看不出
笑容，小谈话，笑声，
但在观察清楚点，
问题是多么的复杂。。。

但最终，这问题是多么的微小的，多么的可笑，只不过是人们缺少安全感，一时的差错，造成的大问题。

可能我无法出声，无法帮助身边的人，可能永远都不会有人读这个 post ，但我想这是我唯一能为身边的人出气的管道吧。

-Mad World. It's a very very mad world. That I'm living in. How many people are living their lives aimlessly, waking up every morning going to school without a motive and going nowhere; going just because you have to go?

One test down. There's Bio (Reproduction) tomorrow, Chinese on Thursday, Mo xie & Bio (Plants) on Friday. And I still need to hand in Emath homework!! I haven't started on Chinese. I'm still slacking. But I really think this week is crap and horrible. Anyway, here's a photo for you.

I really love photos of buildings and tall structures. This one was overexposed x) So i edited it! Will take more photos if I have the opportunity to do so! No matter how hot every day is, there's still nice scenery and something nice for you to look forward to.

今天放学回家途中，有位老人向前来请我帮他发个简讯。起初我感到有点害怕，因为常听人说有类似的诈骗集团，不怀好意的人，真的害怕他是否真的要我帮忙，还是有什么其它目的。。。后来我就帮了他，可是他要发个以外国的号码，好象都发不出去，我也不知怎么办，就说声对不起，离开了。

你有遇到类似的事情吗？你会宁可相信人性本恶，而不帮忙吗？我想我宁可相信人性本善，这个道理吧。我的人生还满奇妙的。人生真奇妙，虽然曾在我身旁帮助我的人离开了，但每担一个离开，就会有另一个出现，不管他是认识的，不太认识的，都有。有时候我还真因为和一些朋友树立了二感到很伤心，但在我慌忙的时候，我的人生中会出现一些跟我根本不是很熟的人和我谈话，让我又找回信心，意志的继续这段艰苦的路。

我真的很感谢他们。谢谢你们当我的 “推手”，当我有足够的能力，我一定会付换的！

每当看《美乐加油》后都会有个很甜蜜的感觉，总希望自己也有个能依靠的人。我真的不是大家想象中的那么坚强啊。。。Okay bye, 我要去读书了！这个星期有５个测验，我快要死了!
